I had a short housesit recently and Damyn was kind enough to watch my dog, Coco and two cats, Emme, and Oliver. What a sweetheart! He did an amazing job. I highly recommend.

Shannon and Michael’s house was very pleasant to sit for! Their two cats are very sweet and low-maintenance. I enjoyed spending time watering the plants every few days. The neighborhood is extremely safe and you are able to walk into Ajijic in a relatively short amount of time. I’d happily sit for them again any time!

Patrick is all you could want and more in a house/pet sitter. He communicates well, his updates timely, pertinent and thorough. A full accounting of expenses and payments was provided when we returned from our 3 month trip abroad. He took excellent care of our dog, 2 cats and chickens and our home. We couldn't have been more pleased with Patrick's services, our first experience with HouseSitMexico!

Helena and Jim's home is beautiful in a lovely part of Ajijic. Taking care of Lola was a dream. She is a love bug who just wants to spend time curled up with you. But she is also fine with being left to nap curled up on her perch on the sofa. Lola knows her routine better than you can. She takes you on her walk and shows you all her favorite sights and smells. Gary housesat for us from June 17-30, 2023, and was amazing. His husband, James, was to be here as well but due to an illness with their dog, Gary came alone. We knew that he was sad to leave his ailing pet but he came anyway. Lola and he bonded beautifully. Gary sent pictures of Lola frequently and always contacted us when he had a question. We would recommend him highly.

We were delighted with the care shown to our pets by Mike and Dahlia. They kept in touch with us on a regular basis by WhatsApp with photos of our beloved dogs which was much appreciated. Our house in Tepoztlan was left in immaculate condition and all the animals were in good condition. We highly recommend them. Fortunately, they arrived at our place the day before which enabled us to meet them and get to know them a bit. Delightful people with a charming young son - Diego. Gillian & John

We had the pleasure of visiting with Gillian and John for a full day or so before they left, wonderful people who we now call friends. The house was excellent, great location, great house and nice green yard area. The dogs and the cat were wonderful as well, fully enjoyed staying with them and playing with them. Highly recommended all around.

Monique took excellent care of Patty & Sal and was great with providing updates throughout. She was flexible with arrival and departure times and very friendly and easy to communicate with beforehand and throughout. We came home to two very relaxed and happy cats which is the ideal! We really enjoyed house sitting for Margie. A really beautiful house with three wonderful dogs included what could be better. Margie is an experienced home owner and has a folder full of information and help. It was our first time in Patzcuaro and we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves here. The dogs are very easy to look after so friendly and love to sit and cuddle. There is a beautiful garden to sit out in and its a very safe and quiet area. We didn't need a car it's a short walk to the supermarket and outside are plenty of combis and taxis to take you anywhere. There are lots of short afternoon out trips you can take and plenty of food options or the house has a brilliant kitchen in fact the whole house is so well set out and comfortable. 100% recommended.

X Barbara house/pet sat at my house for five weeks during May/June 2023. I had her arrive a couple of days early so that she could become acclimated to my two cats, and to my home. Her self professed love for cats was evident from the get go. She bonded with my male cat immediately, and apparently that stayed the case during the whole time here. It was still true when I returned home as I let her stay in my house an extra day until her next assignment began. My other cat is a feed me, let me outside when I want otherwise do not bother me type (she's bonded only to me). So she let her be as she wanted. The litter box was clean, and my house was left clean as well with all items in place as I left them. She handled a maintenance issue in my kitchen by contacting a good friend of mine whose number I had left with her. I also left Barbara an emergency fund in case it was needed which was returned in full upon my return. Barbara loves Mexico as she sold her place in the U.S. and has been traveling around this country in her car with her possessions for the last six months before she took on her first assignment at my house.
