I also came home to a house that was clean, organized, and exactly as I had left it. All pets (4 dogs and 2 cats) are fun and playful, each with their own accepting and fun loving, playful personalities. I loved our dog piles when relaxing by the pool or tucking in for the night, in which the cats sometimes joined in. Even though each have their own special dietary needs they are fun to care for at meal and snack times and we enjoyed our “find the treats” games in the afternoons between rainstorms. This experience was tremendous and time passed too quickly. I really hope to be invited back for future sits and would enjoy caring for Gillian and John’s house and their “crew” again.

Although her post states she is in Jojotepec, I wanted to mention that she is a mere 100 peso taxi ride or short bus trip from central Ajijic. Unfortunately, our plans were cut short by an act of nature and an urgent back surgery. Sze communicated with me about all changes in a clear and timely matter. For a large dog, he is very responsive and easy to handle. Viva has got to be the softest cat i have ever had the pleasure of petting and Leo was a sweetheart too. I have no qualms about recommending this sit to anyone. The area and weather along with the lake are worth the trip.
