Occasional brief WhatsApp and email communications between us proved easy and straightforward, and we were all happy to be flexible to each other’s changing needs during the assignment. Duchess and Elvis are both adorable mixed breed rescue dogs. Due to her past, Duchess can be reactive. This was easily remedied by making sure the dogs were in the house while any visitors were around. We felt confident handling both dogs between us. So we enjoyed taking them out on occasional mini walks around the block or for longer, for extra smells and different energies. Johanne and Doug came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. They cared for the dogs and gave them loads of attention. I got photos while away and brief reports that all was well. I was able to enjoy my getaway time in peace, knowing my pups were safe and sound. The house was spotless and they even had dinner waiting for me on my return!

Barbara has a cozy and unique apartment filled with many antiques. It felt like I went back in time! She gave me all the information I needed to care for her plants and apartment before she left. I made sure the rent was paid on time every month. Her apartment is a great location in centro and was quiet since it's tucked away from the street. It's an older apartment with some quirks but it was an easy sit. Thanks Barbara for letting me stay and take care of it while you were away!

Alisa and Phyllis have a nice home in Guanajuato City with their fur babies. You definitely get your exercise going up the steps in the callejón! Make sure you pack light although they help bring bags up. Alisa and Phyllis went over everything with me before they left and were available to answer any questions while away. Because Barkley and Nutmeg are older dogs there were a few accidents in the house but they were very sweet along with Mocha who lived on the terrace. Milo and Trixie the kit... Continue Reading
