Sitting for Sparky and Murfy was a simple affair. They are both loving, quiet, and relaxed smaller dogs; but strong like oxes when they spot something on their walks! It has a view of the lake in the distance (from living room and patio) and usually a nice breeze thru large window screens. (There is A/C in the bedroom, but it wasn't needed during my stay). Kitchen has all the modern gadgets, nice appliances. In the country, yet in a small gated community - this is the best of both worlds. There is a warm community pool. It's a 1/4 mile (slight downhill) to the main road where the bus passes and it made for a quick and easy run into Chapala for supplies. The internet/wifi is strong and consistent. I streamed my regular shows without issue. I would gladly sit here again if the stars align (and there's an opening in my schedule!).

It was such a welcoming experience sitting for Ellen's fur babies at her home/BnB. Great communication throughout the application and selection process. Upon arrival she took us on a mini shopping trip to her favorite local grocers, veggie stand, and butcher. We enjoyed spending time at Ellen's spacious and eclectic home (during Day of the Dead festivities) and enjoyed visiting Aguascalientes and the nearby town of Jesus Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Note: the homeowners are smokers inside of the home. While it didn't bother or affect us during our stay (we're non-smokers), it may be an issue for sitters who are more sensitive to it.

Michelle and Chad were great. They were flexible with our departure and arrival dates, the house was clean and tidy when we returned, and my plants were all happy. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We exchanged several notes while we were gone, so I felt connected with them as well. We would have them back again if our schedules allow.

They kept in touch with me and handled a minor health issue with the same care and concern that I would have. From the moment they arrived they bonded with both dogs. I really felt comfortable leaving my dogs in their care. They were here for five months and have kindly agreed to come back next year when I return to Canada for the summer. Tim and Bernie are the quintessential hosts for housesitters. They picked me up from my Airbnb and took me grocery shopping before they left for their trip. I received a thorough orientation to their gorgeous home and a list of resources for any emergency. Hanging out with their 21 year old cat Belle was the highlight of my days. I would jump at the chance to housesit for them again.

These two sisters are absolutely FABULOUS! My dogs seem to still be looking for them… I fear I am spoiled for anyone else sitting for me and Mila and Mielita.. The house was spotless.. they were extremely personable.. we had great fun the extra days they were here.. Anyone who receives their care will be VERY LUCKY. Five stars plus plus!!

Donna was wonderful and Mila and Mielita are lovely sweet dogs. Donnas home is spacious and comfortable with a lovely outdoor space. We spent an extra day before and after with Donna which was fabulous. Ajijic has plenty to offer, markets, shopping, restaurants and a lovely Malecon. Chapala nearby is also lovely. Busses are easily available, taxis on street also if you walk to main road about 10mins max. Would definately sit again for Donna.
