Rebecca took excellent care of our 2 kitties, and was great at keeping in touch while we were away, sending lots of photos. We returned to 2 happy cats which was ideal. She also took great care of the apartment. Would definitely recommend!

Martha came to us from Pennsylvania as Rose and I were headed for opposite parts of the United States. I don’t think we’ve felt more confident about leaving our Terrier/Schnauzer mix Moppit with another person. And Martha certainly proved us right. She and Moppit bonded quickly, as easily as Martha bonded with San Miguel de Allende. During our time away we received frequent updates and photos from Martha. Besides having a congenial personality, Martha is a seasoned traveler, especially in Mexico. She was able to move easily through the community and made many friends in her weeklong stay. Those are friends who look forward to her returning to San Miguel as much as we do. Because of her flight schedule, Martha was able to stay with us an extra day and we found her to be excellent company. I couldn’t help but notice how quickly Moppit came to her side when she sat on the couch, a sure sign that all is well! It's been a pleasure to look after Ruth's lovely Border Collie Kika for almost 2 months. Kika had health issues, but we got through them - my belief is that love conquers it all! Kara was a very competent and gracious caretaker for me for 10 weeks this summer. She took excellent care of both Paco and my home while I was away. Being so far away I especially appreciated how communicative she was with me. A real plus for me is that Kara has lived in Mexico for years, ‘knows the ropes’ of the culture, speaks very good Spanish and was a good fit for my neighborhood . I would highly recommend Kara!

I really liked my housesit with Paco. He is a lovely companion. San Antonio Tlayacapan is a relaxed and friendly town,and everything you need is close by. Corrine was always available if I had a question or needed help and her house is cute and comfortable.

I was so fortunate to get to sit for Doyle and his 3 beautiful dogs. Had great instructions for the house sitting and watching over the dogs. All 3 dogs were so smart it was such a pleasure spending the month with them.A beautiful house and yard with a pool and waking up with 3 dogs in your bed what's not to love !!! I loved house/pet sitting for Valeria in Oaxaca City! Their two independent cats Sal and Patty provided lots of amusement and when I was lucky, I got an occasional cuddle on my lap. Their home had everything I needed and they were such gracious hosts, providing a great list of nearby restaurants and things to do. Communication was clear and prompt. The only way my experience could have been better was if the housesit had been longer!
