Liz and Chris recently house sate for us for five weeks. They arrived a day early so we could familiarize them with the house and area. They are fantastic house sitters, as well as a lovely couple. Liz speaks some Spanish, so they adapted easily. It was easy to work out a contract. There were no problems at all in our absence. The house was in perfect condition upon our return. Liz sent me regular Whats App updates, which gave me great comfort. They restocked anything they used in our kitchen, and left us a few extra things. And she made a lovely dinner and fresh bread the day we returned, accompanied by a couple bottles of wine. Liz even salvaged my favorite fern, much to my delight. When we travel at length again, we wouldn't hesitate to have Liz and Chris housesit for us again. They are true pros. They move from one housesit to another. They are committed, reliable and resourceful. I introduced them to our neighbors, in case they needed any help. Our neighbors reported back that they were friendly, but never needed their help.

Cam & Erma’s home is stunningly beautiful. The pool is georgeous and was a delight to swim in. Their dogs, Mabel & Mazie were very sweet and easy to handle. Our accommodations were lovely and separate from the main living area and the location of their home was perfect for walking to most places in Ajijic. Muchas gracias for everything. Linda & Bruce

Sitting for Juanita was really wonderful. I felt completely at peace in her home with its magnificent mountain views and beautiful garden. The animals - though they all have their own routine - were easy to care for and I was able to form a bond with them in a short time. The neighborhood felt completely safe and her home is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and an atm. Juanita is incredibly kind and communicative. I had the pleasure of sitting for Gabriela for one month in Guadalajara. Her cats - Luna & Xena - have two very different personalities, but are equally fun to care for. By week two, we were snuggling and playing. Gaby's place is located in a secure building in a quiet neighborhood. Lena stayed with my cats for a month in Guadalajara. She sent me pictures of them on a regular basis. She also noticed that Luna had loss weight because she was not eating her can food, and she bought her supplements and treats to entice her to eat her can food. I would highly recomend Lena, she is very conscientious and dependable.

Their house is beautiful, a gourmet kitchen, very well-equipped, and the views are amazing…it was a joy to stay in. Every day I would discover new artwork to enjoy. We were fortunate to have Lisa take care of our home and pets recently. It was a pleasure to have her. We found her to be confident, careful and cheerful. Our brood loved her! We have two good sized young boisterous dogs (and an elderly dog). Those dogs were well taken care of, as were our two cats and our home! We would highly recommend Lisa. She is great and we are ever so fortunate to have scheduled her back in the near future. Great to travel without worries!

Jonathan and Edith should be members of a Super Sitters Society! The most important part of sitting for me is that my two elder cats get their meds every morning and evening. That totally happened, and all my cats were well and happy upon our return. Half way through the sit, I got videos of all my kitties. Each one enjoying a bit of cuddle time with Edith. The house was sooooo clean when we got back, and Jonathan had washed all the sheets and remade their bed, so I wouldn’t have to do any cleanup after they left. How incredibly thoughtful. Also, the night before we left, we had a never ending rain that resulted in a skylight leaking a massive puddle in the kitchen. Jonathan was there to deal with it in my absence, and ViLuMa came and re-caulked before another rain could do more damage. Jonathan and Edith are super responsible and very sweet people. They are just what you need when leaving your loved ones and home in the care of others. I truly hope they are available the next time we need to travel. They get 5 stars easily !

Yessica was wonderful to sit for, and her dog Skylar was awesome! The house is air-conditioned and has plenty of ceiling fans, which is a must for Puerto Vallarta in the summer. The terrace over the garage is a garden sanctuary with beautiful hummingbirds visiting frequently. We would sit for her again.

Not only is the home a masterpiece in architecture with gorgeous views of Lake Chapala and a swimming pool that you will never forget, but she had a handy guide prepared to answer all of my housesitting questions. It was a dark and stormy night... Our mini-Schnauzer, Charlie, was hyperventilating from the fear. At 2:00 a.m. our wonderful house sitter, Debbie Breakers, took her into our den, closed the door, lowered the blinds and turned up the TV in order to mask the sound of the storm and give Charlie some comfort. At 3:00 a.m. the storm passed and Charlie and Debbie went back to bed. This is only one example of the exemplary care Debbie took of our pet and our house. Two to three walks a day... This was my first-ever housesit and it set a very high standard! Joy and Brad communicated well both before and during the sit. Joy made sure I had good directions and contact information to get the shuttle from the airport, and other such details. They were very organized and provided me with a document that had relevant numbers in case I needed to call a repair person during my stay. Their beautiful home was just as they described it and taking care of their plants/rooftop garden was a fun daily task. I made my nest in their guest room and immediately felt at home. It was a lovely stay in beautiful San Miguel de Allende.
