What a wonderful house sit. Helena & Jim were so accommodating and organized and made the transition seamless. Their home was lovely and the view of the lake was incredible. But the best part may have been Lola…the sweet doggie we had the privilege of sharing the home with for 3 1/2 weeks. What a delight! She loved her walks, her treats, her car rides and just spending time with us. She was happy all the time and a joy to spend time with. It was a great sit and we would gladly do it again.... Nicholas was attentive and kind to our pets. His communication is excellent. He sent messages once a week with photos of pets and general updates. He informed of us of any irregularities of the health of our pets. On two occasions he transported pets to the vet while keeping us informed and updated on the situations. We employ a dog walker and our dog can be difficult to walk. That said Nick is fit and willing to walk pets. He was conscious of energy usage in our home which we appreciate. ... Continue Reading

Brooke and Mike made the journey from San Miguel de Allende, where they have a home, to house sit for us and Lola, our little girl. They were most accommodating, especially when I had to tell them that our housekeeper was to have surgery and would be out of commission for a while. Brooke jumped in and said that Mike is an expert with a vacuum cleaner, and we shouldn't worry about it. We appreciated their flexibility and kindness. I had an amazing time at Janet and Allison's home. The pets are adorable - Bonnie kept me company, and the cats entertained me in the morning and late afternoon. The house and yard are beautiful. Janet and Allison are perfect hosts - providing everything I needed for a great stay.

Brian was awesome. He is extremely intelligent, very kind and respectful as well as a great conversationalist. He was in my home with my dog Peekay for the month I was back in Canada. Peekay loved Brian’s calm demeanor and curled up on the sofa with him for movies and they played together on the rooftop terrace daily. I’m pretty sure I would have missed my flight without his help as I was given 2 hours notice that my booked flight (Air Canada) was cancelled due to their strike so I had to take the one that night or not get there until the strike ended. The house was in perfect condition when I got home and it was obvious how happy Peekay was.

Angela was amazing! I felt at ease with her the first time we spoke and after meeting her even more at ease. She took great care of my Oliver and my home. She was very professional and knowledgeable about Mexico which is important to me. She definitely knows how to get things resolved on her own when they come up. She even had Oliver groomed for me the day before I came home. Such a sweetheart I would recommend her ? for here in Mexico or anywhere in the world.

Shawn and Laura did a sit for us in our house and took care of our pug gizmo for 2.5 weeks and gizmo was so well taken care of as well as our home! Gizmo had such a wonderful time and we received great photos and videos of our little pug baby! They did such an excellent house/pet sit for us. We would so use them again and they were both wonderful to get to know! They even picked us up in our car when we came back and had some wonderful rotisserie chicken for us! 5+++ stars!

My wife & I house & pet sat for Krystie & Terry's home with their dog Gizmo in Puerto Morelos. They made our stay very pleasant and their dog is so easy to care for and Gizmo took to us quite well. They live in a great location close to the beach and many activities around. Whoever house sits for them will have an enjoyable time as they are great people.

Shauna was a wonderful housesitter during my 7 weeks away. She is very capable, and was an excellent communicator, both when we were messaging about arrangements before her arrival and during my absence. We had a couple of days together after she arrived and before I left, to run through how everything works here, and the tasks required, and she "got" all of it, only messaging me a couple of times to ask about things that seemed "off", or that she had a question about. X Shauna was a wonderful housesitter during my 7 weeks away. She is very capable, and was an excellent communicator, both when we were messaging about arrangements before her arrival and during my absence. We had a couple of days together after she arrived and before I left, to run through how everything works here, and the tasks required, and she "got" all of it, only messaging me a couple of times to ask about things that seemed "off", or that she had a question about. My place is not that easy to look after, especially in the hot, humid rainy season, but Shauna was obviously quite capable of dealing with a home that isn't an automatic condo-type place. The house was very clean and tidy on my return, the cat alive and well, and the yard and gardens in as good shape or better than I expect during the rainy season when everything grows out of control. (I don't expect housesitters to weed, or care for plants beyond watering if necessary, just to keep the few small grassy areas weedeaten and chop back anything that's flopping over into the paths) Shauna had asked if it would be okay to bring her large, calm, senior dog with her, although said she could leave him with a friend if necessary, but I said it was fine. It never occurred to me that the cat would freak out, as I had had a large dog she was used to until the dog passed away 3 years ago. The cat took off as soon as the dog appeared, which really didn't concern me very much- she is an outside cat who was feral in my neighborhood for a couple of years until she decided she lived here. She reappeared during the night when the dog was inside the guest bedroom with Shauna, and the next day I carried her within proximity of the dog, which she wasn't too happy about, but didn't disappear again, just stayed inside the house. Shauna had gotten up before me the morning I left, made friends with the cat, and within a day or two after I left, Shauna messaged me to say all was well, and the cat had resigned itself to the dog and was no longer in freak-out mode. When I returned, Shauna said the cat actually often slept with her. She also came and picked me up from the bus station when I returned, which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Shauna as a housesitter and would definitely love to have her housesit for me again.

Barbara met us like old friends and took time to show us around the area and make sure we were comfortable. There were extensive instructions, information and contacts for help so that we felt completely comfortable. Her home is beautiful and well stocked.. This was a long time away from my two pups and home in LA Paz. Terri and Roger kept in touch with pictures and stories about how they were doing. I felt so comfortable being away knowing that my pups and house were being well cared for. They are a very nice and capable couple. I would welcome them back.

She is very informative, both over the phone and in writing, and takes great pride and passion with her 4 amazing cats. She was very clear and specific of the special needs or attention needed for a couple, which definitely helped upon arrival to better understand the expectations before getting together for our "meet and greet" the day before the sit began. She was very clear and specific of the special needs or attention needed for a couple, which definitely helped upon arrival to better understand the expectations before getting together for our "meet and greet" the day before the sit began. The apartment is in a nice location, offers everything you can imagine and close to walking to the stores or for other needs. It is also down the street from the train and any busses so super convenient to get around if needed. I walked around a lot but also had a car. Parking in the subterranian garage definitely put my mind at ease as well. The cats are very well-behaved and a couple are real snugglers. They love their feeding and play times for sure! Charina communicates well and informs when something comes up so it's not a surprise. I would be happy to come back for other sits if our schedules mesh again in the future.
