Once we made the decision to have him sit for us the communication was excellent. Franklyn did a wonderful job watching our two pups. He kept us informed daily and it was wonderful to get daily photos and videos of Harkin and Obi-Juan. Communication while we were away was excellent. Finally, Franklyn did a great job taking care of our casita. After he left, everything was in its place, the kitchen was clean, the bed was stripped, and all linens were ready to be laundered. Franklyn is a very nice guy and truly a fantastic pet sittter. He is extremely responsible and I would highly recommend him.

X Marti's and Mike's housesit was my first shortly after joining HouseSitMexico. How could I have been so fortunate for my first go around the block! For close to 2 1/2 weeks I was surrounded by beautiful art inside and outside their home, Mumu, the lovable horse, Chebala, the timid mule and my two new best friends, the Pittie, Cookie and the Blue Heeler, Mago. Marti left me a notebook full of guidance for any possible question I might have. She picked me up at the bus station and drove me back at the end of the stay, took me grocery shopping and even had me stay overnight before the housesit so I could get acclimated to the property and the animals' routines. We texted back and forth during their trip as questions came up. She was always accessible. Given that I was carless and Marti and Mike live in the campo, they did everything possible to make sure I had ways to get into town, gave me the use of their car to drive to the bus stop and lists of sites to see when out and about. But honestly, their property was so green and lush, the butterflies and birds so enchanting, the views so spectacular and the animals so entertaining that I hardly ventured out. Marti gave me full rein of her art studio to play in too. I took more photos there than I've taken while traveling abroad! More than 5 stars!

5 Stars!!! Gisele and Cesar were Really Great Housesitters! They took Wonderful care of my 2 cats and the cats both warmed up to them immediately. One of my cats is old, 14, and the other one is new - still a kitten and I´ve only had her for a few months. It was Very Important to me to be able to video call her daily so that she wouldn´t forget me. Second, Cara is very competent and personable, taking care of any issues that arose with ease. No request was beyond her ability. For instance, we currently have our house for sale and wouldn’t you know it, our realtor wanted to bring some clients by while we were gone. No problem for Cara, even though it was not part of her housesitting duties. She made sure everything was tidy, in order and ready for the showing. Didn’t sell the house, unfortunately, but that’s through no fault of Cara’s. And Cara has a fun, outgoing personality. She made friends with several of our neighbors and we, in fact, consider her a friend as well. We recommend Cara to anyone needing a reliable and conscientious house and/or pet sitter. We really enjoyed taking care of Canela and Nina at Louisa’s beautiful home in Cuernavaca. The fur babies were very sweet and easy to care for. Louisa had all the information we needed in a notebook which included restaurant and shopping suggestions. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Louisa was very responsive to our concerns. We would definitely return to house and pet sit in the future. The home is located a just 20 minute walk from the center of town.

I had the opportunity to sit for Bev and take care of Oliver. Bev was warm and welcoming, and Oliver (bernedoole) just has a huge personality, when you get out for walks he's out checking the neighborhood for "his friends".he's got such a good nature it was a treat to spend time with him.. Her home is comfortable, safe and quiet, and walking distance to el Centro, Gaudalupe, San Antonio and other great neighborhoods, and all the wonderful things San Miguel offers. He has his own dog walkers, so all that is really needed is to feed him and give him some attention, which is easy to do because he's so lovable. He’s fun to play with and he also loves to just stretch out, relax and sleep. There are absolutely no issues with a wonderful dog like Peekay. I will miss him! This was my first HouseSit and I’m grateful to Lindsay for her help and generosity. We got along great, and she made it an effortless experience. And again, Peekay is one of the best!
