Dodo and Sven took great care of our house and dog Archer. They sent photos of Archie almost daily. They watered plants, kept our hummingbirds happy with fresh food and left the place sparkling clean. Alex A. is the best house sitter I've ever had and I've had close to a dozen over the years, all long term and all stellar so to sing his praises as such is high praise indeed. He sent me pics of his outings with my dog which were varied and super fun for Canelo in our small beach town. In addition to caring for the 4 legged residents of the villa, Alex identified problem areas at the villa over the summer months and made sure that any repairs needed were accomplished. Alex speaks perfect English and Spanish as he spent his early childhood in Great Britain and has roots here too. He's an ideal sitter on so many levels: familiarity with how things run in Mexico, deep seated love for animals, and heightened level of responsibility. My sincere thanks go to him.

They made plans to fly down a couple days early such that they could learn the pet care and house care routines from a departing long term sitter. They accomplished all the villa needs and the pet needs perfectly. I feel fortunate to have had them care for the 4 legged residents at the villa and to oversee care of the villa in my absence. We became instant friends with Trish! She is a delight to know and she was wonderful with our pups. She sent us daily videos and pictures and the boys looked quite content to have her there with them. Our house was in perfect shape when we returned. We hope she can sit for us again on another trip! Gail and John went out of their way to acclimate me to their home, dogs and community before they left. They picked me up and dropped me off at the airport which I greatly appreciated. I was introduced to the local hangouts, multiple beaches, restaurants and where to go for necessities. They generously let me use their golf cart to take the dogs to the beach daily and run errands. Joe and Karen stayed in my home near Progreso, Yucatan, and cared for one dog and one cat for almost 6 weeks this Fall. I found them to be very responsible and respectful. Alex was absolutely awesome with our 2 dogs, Ginger and Remy. She took them for daily walks on the beach and many rides in the golf cart. (Their favorite pastime!) Remy has some fear issues and Ginger can get "attitude" but both dogs were calm and relaxed. Alex sent daily pictures which helped me stay calm and relaxed! LOL. Highly recommend Alex.

Elizabeth is a wonderful host and we would definitely sit for her again in the future. Her home in Chuburna, Yucatan is spacious and comfortable and sits right on a beautiful beach. The sea breeze and falling asleep to the sound of the waves is glorious. Sasha and Botas are loving pets and we fell in love with them. Great area, great beach, great home. An outstanding assignment that we would highly recommend.

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Bajamar Oceanfront Resort in Lisa’s beautiful home with Sailor & Henry! Her home is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated with a pool and amazing gardens surrounding her entire property. Her sweet pups are well behaved and popular with the neighbors on our daily walks. Our stay was relaxing and the weather was perfect. A wonderful destination if you get the chance!
