We are so pleased that Edward was able to look after our chickens and guests at our small hotel. He is personable, solves problems (no hot water) and speaks fluent Spanish. He looked after paying our staff, setting door codes for new guests and helping them how to get to centro etc.

My husband, Chris, and I have just finished up a one month kitty housesit for Claire and her mother Becca, in the gorgeous Pueblo Magico town of Patzcuaro. The housesit involved looking after Miss Honey and a young kitten with special needs, named Miss Lizzie. The housesit involved looking after Miss Honey and a young kitten with special needs, named Miss Lizzie. Miss Lizzie has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (Wobbly Cat Syndrome) which means she can be quite unsteady on her paws. Both Miss Honey and Miss Lizzie were utterly delightful to look after. Becca and Caire ensured that we were armed with all of the necessary contact details of vets, landlord etc in the event of any issues that may arise. Also kitteh care, feeding needs, routines, local services, restaurants to eat at (and a couple to avoid!) Claire and Becca's home is in Centro Patzcuaro and is walkable to most locations in the Centro area. The Mercado is nearby, also the plaza, really good restaurants and street food vendors are all within a stones throw. Rest assured, despite being in the Centro area, the house is still very quiet and safe. Chris and I feel very lucky to have been able to look after the gorgeous Miss Honey and Miss Lizzie and miss them terribly already.

Kirsty' s cats were afraid at the beginning when Ariel and I arrived their house. I know that's normal, but I called them with love and they quickly got used to me and tried to stay by me most of the time. The house is so great, 2 blocks from 5th avenue and 2 blocks from Mamita's beach. The neighborhood is very nice. Kirsty is great, so sweet and nice. We would like to sitting her apartment when she's traveling again.

I dealt mostly with Martha, who came to take care of my 2 male ex-street cats. One has FIV and has open wounds, which are healing, but need to be monitored. Martha noticed when his wounds opened up further and took immediate action. I realise how stressful and scary that would have been for her, but she acted like a pro and contacted the vet straight away. Dolores took excellent care of my pup, Dolly, while I was away for more than a month. She followed Dolly’s schedule, took her for regular walks and play dates and knowing that Dolly loves people watching, even took her to watch a neighborhood soccer match. She sent regular photos and videos so I could tell Dolly was being well cared for. The apartment was tidy and all in order when I returned. Thank you, Dolores.

I've just completed a wonderful housesit for Ian and Chaly. The house is really lovely with lots of Mexican charm in a beautiful neighborhood of San Miguel de Allende. Lots of outdoor space with beautiful landscaping and a pool in the back! Lovely terrace on the 2nd floor where you have a view of the lake and can watch the beautiful sunsets. X I've just completed a wonderful housesit for Ian and Chaly. The house is really lovely with lots of Mexican charm in a beautiful neighborhood of San Miguel de Allende. There was a maid who was efficient and friendly and a gardener to help with the plant care. The neighborhood is a very friendly one with a local market and lively local restaurant with good food, and lots of great places to walk the dog. Also there is a great Sat. market in the neighborhood and sometimes on Sunday evening music and art just around the corner from the house. Ian and Chaly were charming and very responsive hosts who were always prompt to respond to questions. The housesit was truly a charming place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone who considers housesitting for them. They provided everything I needed and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

Terri and Roger were a wonderful couple who house sat and cared for our 2 kitties in Patzcuaro, Michoacan. The communication was just right and there was never any concern while we were away. We truly could leave all back home in their capable hands and with local support we'd arranged for any eventuality. Michelle was a wonderful house/pet sitter for our pug Gizmo. I can't say enough about Michelle. She took great care of both our house and Gizmo. Michelle sent lots of pictures and videos and was very good about following our directions on Gizmo and his routine! He was a happy and well looked-after pug! We would so have Michelle house sit again and would have zero worries if she was watching Gizmo again!

Lara and Randy were exceptional sitters! Sophia loved Lara immediately, but she is very hesitant with men (street dog abused by men). But Randy was so patient and soon they were best friends!!! I returned home to an immaculately clean home. I would highly recommend this fabulous "team". They took Sophia out on the town and enjoyed many walks along the Malecon. I'm hoping they can return for another visit soon.
