This was reassuring to know a few people in town that I could call on if needed!!! Becky's two dogs are super sweet and easy to care for. There is a park less than a block away that the dogs loved. Becky went over all the instructions for the dogs (which were simple). Her friend Lisa was also very helpful. Becky left sunblock and some other items from me to use which I did while there (beach chair, beach "blankets", Yeti beverage containers which came in handy for traveling water!!! We felt safe in the neighborhood and took advantage of nearby restaurants. Catching a cab or bus was handy - close to the house. Beach is about a 10 - 15 minute drive from the house. Communication with Becky was superb. If I ever had a question or concern, Becky responded almost immediately which was great. Five out of five stars!!!

Lia was great giving me all the needed information to care for her babies and house, she was also available all the time by messaging in case I had any questions. Very happy with Socorro, a gentle soul that just retired and wants to go back to her roots (she is originally from Mexico but live in Minnesota for 40 years She just started to pet sit but i had no problems with her as she used to own pets My cats felt at ease with her right away I will recommend her 100% Very trustworthy, clean and very loving with my pets.

I always enjoy our time, tummy scratches, silliness and walks around the beautiful neighborhood. The new addition of Kitty was great, she may have been feral but so sweet and loving, she and Bella are like sisters and interact so lovingly. Can't wait to see everyone again in the new year.

Finally, Franklyn did a great job taking care of our casita. After he left, everything was in its place, the kitchen was clean, the bed was stripped, and all linens were ready to be laundered. Franklyn is a very nice guy and truly a fantastic pet sittter. He is extremely responsible and I would highly recommend him.

× Marti's and Mike's housesit was my first shortly after joining HouseSitMexico. How could I have been so fortunate for my first go around the block! For close to 2 1/2 weeks I was surrounded by beautiful art inside and outside their home, Mumu, the lovable horse, Chebala, the timid mule and my two new best friends, the Pittie, Cookie and the Blue Heeler, Mago. Marti left me a notebook full of guidance for any possible question I might have. She picked me up at the bus station and drove me back at the end of the stay, took me grocery shopping and even had me stay overnight before the housesit so I could get acclimated to the property and the animals' routines. We texted back and forth during their trip as questions came up. She was always accessible. Given that I was carless and Marti and Mike live in the campo, they did everything possible to make sure I had ways to get into town, gave me the use of their car to drive to the bus stop and lists of sites to see when out and about. But honestly, their property was so green and lush, the butterflies and birds so enchanting, the views so spectacular and the animals so entertaining that I hardly ventured out. Marti gave me full rein of her art studio to play in too. I took more photos there than I've taken while traveling abroad! More than 5 stars!
