The cats got close right away and we soon made friends. Lia is a very good pet owner, animal lover, attentive to their needs. Very nice home in a nice little gated community, that Juanita and I thoroughly enjoyed. They have an adorable little Schnauzer that is very low maintenance. Dale was an extremely gracious host and very responsive when needed, all in all, a great stay at this place.

Carey and Marek were absolutely marvelous, such responsibe and reliable people. It was like magic, when they met the dogs. They just clicked and took so good care of the house and dogs. If you come by them you hit the jackpot, we got daily updates and pictures about how the dogs were doing. So, we could just focus on our trip and never had to worry about a thing. Carey is perfectly prepared with herbs and tinctures and jumped in when our female dog, who was freshly recovering from being spaye... Continue Reading

If you come by them you hit the jackpot, we got daily updates and pictures about how the dogs were doing. So, we could just focus on our trip and never had to worry about a thing. Carey is perfectly prepared with herbs and tinctures and jumped in when our female dog, who was freshly recovering from being spayed, and had some bladder problems she found a perfect remedy. We trusted both blindly and our dogs got very attached to them, they were sad when they left, even a bit bluesy. If you are looking for loving, caring and 100 % reliable and honest people look no further. We became friends and are staying in contact.

Gabriella & her family are great people - we enjoyed meeting them and caring for their home and dogs! They were kind enough to welcome us with a stocked up kitchen (so we didn't have to grocery shop). Their home was comfortable and easy to be in, and the dogs super well behaved. We were glad there were 2 of us to walk the dogs several times daily. X Gabriella & her family are great people - we enjoyed meeting them and caring for their home and dogs! They were kind enough to welcome us with a stocked up kitchen (so we didn't have to grocery shop). Their home was comfortable and easy to be in, and the dogs super well behaved. We were glad there were 2 of us to walk the dogs several times daily. The area is urban - near the beach and malecon of Mazatlan - so navigating the dogs among other people and pets was easiest with 2 of us. We were excited to learn that Gabriella has developed a wonderful system of natural feeding for the dogs, so we prepared their meals fresh daily. As we were familiar with this type of dog care it was enjoyable for us. And she had natural remedies as well, just in case the dogs needed anything. We were all able to be a bit flexible on the return and our departure as we were driving - and it worked out perfectly. It just seemed everything flowed well, we feel like we made new friends, and we enjoyed the company of these well behaved dogs. The dogs were really good for us, they got a bit attached - but that's good - and they were so happy when their family returned!!!

It was a privilege to care for ChiChi and her beautiful casita. Kim is a delightful, funny and caring lady. Her instructions for the house and ChiChi were thorough and written out for me to refer to. ChiChi is the sweetest little girl and was cool with me being her caregiver. The casita is located in the perfect area of town with amazing shops and restaurants within a 3 minute walk. I am so grateful to have met Kim & ChiChi through HouseSitMexico and believe we have becomes friends!

Hart and Marilyn are a delightful couple and wonderful house/cat/koi sitters. After a week away, my cat Nacho was thrilled to have me home, the koi never knew I was gone, the house was clean, and Hart had emailed me updates every day. Hope they can come again for another "sit".

We had a great stay at Lois and Steve’s place. Both are very nice and accommodating. Lois left us well thought instructions for the care of her two cats, GG & Blaze. This assignment was very low maintenance in a private community. We felt that the house was very quiet and safe. Very little light pollution so star gazing was epic. Jacqueline was the perfect sitter for ChiChi! She was warm & personable, punctual & ChiChi loved her right from the get go. Jacqueline sent daily pics & updates & she left my house spotless. I couldn’t even tell she’d been there except for the little bag of trash she left neatly outside the door. I super highly recommend Jacqueline for your pet/house sitting needs.

Uli was a pleasure to have in our home. We had Airbnb and rental guests he looked after, making them feel at home including their rent. He helped with giving access to the plumber when there was an issue, and paying the gardeners. Our chickens were in good hands as he opened and cleaned their pen and fed them daily. The house was returned to us in very clean condition. We highly recommend Uli
