When I was away , we kept in connect by e-mail and What's App. She handled any issues which arose extremely well and in a timely manner (e.g. a flat tire was one). All my cats were healthy and happy and my 6 ferals , in particular, were obviously spoiled (they all have names and routines and live in my yard). LindaRose was reliable and responsible and followed all my instructions for care of the cats, the house, and the plants. The house was neat and tidy also on my return.. Being bilingual as she is, was an advantage with my non-English speaking house cleaner and gardener, as she was able to communicate easily with them both. I highly recommend LindaRose for any length of house sit and this was a day longer as I got caught in the FAA issues Jan.11 also.

Inez was willing to come over a few days before so we could all meet and go over things. Inez was willing to come over a few days before so we could all meet and go over things. In fact, she came twice which really helped us all get comfortable and for Inez to get to know the routine along with our doggies. While we were away, we had some internet issues and Inez pretty much handled everything to get it quickly resolved. She was super flexible and relaxed in her approach which helped a lot for all involved. Inez also helped oversee our gardeners, housekeeper and the flow of our home in general. When we arrived home, our house was in perfect condition. All our animals were safe, happy and very well taken care of. We can’t thank Inez enough and will always be grateful her. We highly recommend Inez!

I love this housesit. Mexico is fabulous but loud, and sometimes you just want peace and quiet and comfort. Helena and Jim's place is a beautiful refuge and they were both generous and so easy to work with. Because I had access to their car, Lola the princess pooch and I went almost everywhere together. I fell in love with her and she slept tucked in next to me every night. Lots of long walks and hanging out socially together, meeting people in cafes and on the malecon. I love to cook and the... I love to cook and the kitchen is fabulously outfitted. The bed is huge and super comfortable and there's an unusual amount of privacy in the large yard and patio, enjoying 180° view of Lake Chapala. Edward, thank you for the opportunity to care for your dog. Marley is so well trained; he guided me as to where we would go walking. Your home was comfortable and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. I was well received by the neighbours.. It was a pleasant pet/house sit experience.

Our first time using House Sit Mexico and we hit a home run with Linda & Derek! Their love of animals was obvious and demonstrated in many ways. They kept us updated with emails and pics and left our house in great condition! We recommend Linda and Derek without reservation!

We enjoyed our time here. Judy’s home is so interesting, being from the U.S, we’ve never seen anything like it. The neighborhood is really neat, we walked all over it. If you want to go into town, taxis and Ubers are super cheap. The girls are the sweetest little things. They’re so well behaved and just want to be with you. Judy is a lovely and interesting lady. Cheri housesat for us in January 2023 for a week to watch our house and our four-year-old poodle mix puppy. They instantly bonded and she fell in love with our Lola. We gave her use of our car for the week, taking her to the malecon on the lake, and to run errands. She took excellent care of both. We would recommend her highly.

Nice couple, nice house, and two nice Russian Blue cats. Everything about this housesit worked for us. Michael and Connie prepared us well for the sit with all the details about caring for the cats and the house as well as lots of useful information on Guadalajara. During the sit they were available and responsive and always friendly and helpful. The cats are totally different individuals, equally enjoyable, and easy to care for. The preferred to sleep on the big bed with us, mostly at the foot of the bed, and we enjoyed their warm, furry company. The neighborhood is in a good location and the house and yard were mostly self-maintaining. We highly recommend sitting for this family and have already agreed to sit for them again.

We stayed at Villa Cascada de Flores in Chacala for five months. Throughout our time there it was very easy to communicate with Jill. We took care of Canelo and fell in love with him. He is an easy dog to care for. We walked him three times a day and took him on hikes to the mountain and also to hangout on the beach with us. There were also stray cats we fed. It’s a short walk to the beach and a small grocery store. Getting to and from Las Varas was very easy. Everyone we met during our stay was helpful, kind and welcoming. Jill answered all our questions quickly and gave us a lot of useful information and tips upfront so we didn’t have to guess. We’d recommend house sitting here to anyone who gets the opportunity.
