Dave and Mary will provide you with every written detail about caring for their pets and how to be comfortable in their wonderful well-equipped home. Any questions or messages are readily answered by either Dave or Mary while they are gone. Having the horse country experience just minutes outside SMA is a bonus on the experience! If I ever intend to come back toward SMA, one of the first things I'd do is contact Dave and Mary and ask if they need a vacation so I can petsit for them! ?

Shannon has a charming and comfortable home in a residential area of Ajijic. We stayed and looked after her house on 2 separate occasions while she travelled out of the country. Justine is a delight as a person and a house sitter. On my return, I could tell that all my cats were very well looked after. Justine kept in touch with pictures, e-mail and Whats App. There was an issue with the water shut off here in the fracc. where I live and Justine followed all the directions I gave quickly. I highly recommend her for any house sitting positions as she is conscientious , enthusiastic, organized and truly enjoys pets.

I highly recommend this housesit. The homeowners were hospitable and considerate. And their lovely poodles, Lui and Sadie, are affectionate and adorable. I really enjoyed my stay.

Paul and Deb were great house sitters. They loved being with the dogs and the dogs seemed happy with them. The house was clean and they were communicative. Would have them sit again.

Janet and Allison are great hosts and have a lovely home. They provided detailed written instructions and I had everything I needed for the sit. Their fur babies, Lexi, Oliver and Emme were easy to care for. Lexi was a constant, sweet companion. Emme and Oliver took a while to warm up to me, like cats do, and eventually stopped running away every time I entered a room lol. It was a great sit overall and I highly recommend if you get the opportunity.

Andreè was the first one to respond to our ad and after reading her reviews and speaking to folks that she had worked with in the past, we decided to go with her for a 3-month gig. We cannot say enough nice things about her. She was the perfect house sitter to have, making sure our home was kept clean and organized and all the pets were happy and well cared for. X Andreè was the first one to respond to our ad and after reading her reviews and speaking to folks that she had worked with in the past, we decided to go with her for a 3-month gig. We cannot say enough nice things about her. She was the perfect house sitter to have, making sure our home was kept clean and organized and all the pets were happy and well cared for. At one point, while we were away, we needed her to go into our safe to get some important documents to send them to us in the US and Andreè took care of this matter for us in a very timely manner and has won our utmost trust. We have two dogs and two cats and Andreè and our pets got along very well. The mutual experience exceeded all expectations, so much so, that Andreè will be back in May for another 3 months. That should say it all! I highly recommend this lovely lady for anyone considering using her to care for their home and pets.

Millie house sat and cared for our beloved cat Katie during Jan/Feb 2023. This was our first experience with a non family member caretaker while we traveled. We had a great time with Marc and Paulette's two dogs, Brindle and Fiona. They took us on long walks every morning, then we got to enjoy relaxing in their owner's beautiful home. The rooftop garden is a wonderful place for refreshments in the afternoon and the guestroom bed was one I wanted to take home with me! Marc and Paulette are a warm and welcoming couple who we are happy to now call our friends.

There isn't enough room here to write all the nice things I have to say about Tom, Donna, and their lovely chihuahua Baby who is so sweet and affectionate. First of all, the communication was excellent; we were given details about the house (feeding schedules, plant watering, etc.) before our arrival so we had an idea of what was required. Once we arrived, they took us out for dinner, showed us the area, and we returned home to talk about the specifics of the house. Their house is amazingly beautiful and very well set-up, not to mention very secure and safe. Donna had prepared and frozen a bunch of the food for the dogs so everything was covered for the time we were there. We kept in good contact while they were on vacation, but everything went smooth as silk. On their return, we had supper ready for them and we enjoyed an evening with our new friends who are very kind, funny, and clearly so in love. I would recommend house-sitting for them to anyone (although you must be prepared for a journey up a hill, a car is a plus) as their home is tranquil and beautiful, and it was such a pleasure to care for Baby and the street dogs that are faithfully there to eat twice a day. I hope we get to return one day to beautiful Ixtlahuacan de los Membrillos. Thanks Tom and Donna!
