We are in a hotel in Queretaro now after wrapping up a almost 7 week stay with Shannon and Jean-Paul. It was a lovely experience. The home is new construction and still being worked on a bit from time to time but the gardens are beautiful and it's a peaceful setting for Mexico standards. The neighborhood is mixed but the block the house is on has very nice people. We always felt safe walking day or night. There are nice cafe's within close walking distance and a wonderful Ice / Water purification place a block away and they will deliver ice to you! ( We use a lot of ice ). We walked all over San Miguel from this location with ease and there is the number 1 bus that runs uphill from close by and drops you off less than a block from the house, or you can take it there downhill if you like from that same spot. The "kids", Chuy and Dweezil are a breeze to handle and take care of and are in fact a bit more elusive than we would prefer as sometimes we did not see them for hours at a time but knew they were close by. Shannon and Jean-Paul were wonderful to meet and easy to work with and communicate with. Their housekeeper, Elodia is a sweetheart. I have no hesitation suggesting this sit to anyone who is looking in San Miguel and has some knowledge and understanding of large gardens.

Bland& Norman House sat for us while we were away for nearly 7 weeks. They cared for our 2 cats who seemed to like them a lot. Norman took great care of our garden and pond. He worked at ridding the plants of the grasshoppers using his own organic concoction. Bland kept us updated with occasional pictures of the cats and garden. They are really good communicators and very thoughtful. The house was very clean and neat. They bought some basic foods for us so that we could eat at home aft... Continue Reading

We will reimburse them for their out of pocket expenses via a bank transfer. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable sitters.

Both my dog & cat easily bonded with Judy. Neighbors reported that she could be seen often walking the dog in the neighborhood. I returned to an immaculate house with everything in order. I would not hesitate to offer Judy future house sits. I highly recommend her.

It was both a pleasure and a privilege for me to housesit at Jan's home with her two adorable pets. Roxy (a Havanese dog) and Sylvester (the cat) were very easy charges to care for. Roxy loved to play and go out on her walks, sniffing everything in her path. Sylvester eventually warmed up to me, then he couldn't get enough petting and love. Jan's home is in a lovely, quiet area, which provided a restful stay. I hope to get another opportunity to return and enjoy the company!

Natalie was a gem, she seemed to be able to turn her hands to any task. Willy was in love with her and certainly missed her for a couple of days after they left. They asked to stay an extra day to fit in with their next house sit in SMA, which was no problem.

Now we know what the old saying “a dog is a splitting image of it’s master” actually means. Frida was such a cool calm affectionate dog. She was a pleasure to take care of. We sat at the table and got to know each other. Laura and Alexandro were so very gracious and easy to hang around with. We had a lovely dinner that Alexandro pic... Continue Reading

If you can get an assignment at this house you should take it. The home was beautiful and very well maintained. It is located in a quiet gated community with good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The house keeper came twice a week and kept the home immaculate. Everything from the bedding and towels to the comfortable furniture were top notch quality. We enjoyed the open great room concept and views which made our stay one to remember.

I would give them 6 stars, if possible. The experience of staying at Shannon's and Michael's house couldn't have been better. They kindly invited me to arrive 5 days earlier to avoid traveling in between my days serving there. That's how we had enough time to get to know the neighborhood, the weekly activities and they also introduced me to their friends which was super lovely after arriving for the first time to Mexico. They needed some days to get used to my company, but then they stayed always close to me. Both are super easy to handle and love to sleep all day long. Thanks so much for your hospitality and your trust! I definitely would love to come back for future sits!

A marvelous sit! Bert and Christina immediately made us feel at home. And what a beautiful home in a quiet community with an amazing view! Sweet Jett, Jaxx and Jasper were all easy to care for, easy to give meds to, and easy to fall in love with. The tour Bert gave was very helpful and the written instructions were clear. We would definitely apply for a house sit here again. Thank you, Bert & Christina, for a wonderful experience at Lake Chapala!

Neytiri met the challenges of our petsitting requirements with love and commitment. We we returned home from our 2 weeks in the US our dogs were happy and healthy. The house was well taken care of and all we had to do is unpack. It made coming home so pleasant. But the BEST thing about using Neytiri is her very special knowledge of EMDR. She is a psychologist and uses this technique to help her clients with trauma. Our Remo has suffered from panic and anxiety from loud noises for years. Neytiri used this technique to help him cope with loud thunder and fireworks. IT WORKED! We are very grateful for this bonus of care from her. We whole heartedly would recommend her for any petsititing assignment.

Linda & Mike were wonderful sitters, and also great company before our departure and last night that we returned and they had dinner ready for us. They took very good care of Frida and everything at home. Frida was happy and I personally enjoyed a short but great neck and shoulders massage from Linda, who happens to be a certified masseuse, and a very good one! Muchas gracias Linda and Mike!!!!
