Their home is beautiful, clean and inviting with a view of Lake Chapala that is spectacular. Their cat Alba will warm up to you and offer his love and affection in exchange for yours. I just can't wait to return again.

I love the blonde haired Marion in the picture. She now has darker hair, but Marion and Jeff were great housesitters. They took great care of the house and our 13 year old "puppy" with lots of love and attention. Jeff even fixed a couple of things in the house, without even asking. Our stove burners now work great! They asked if they could bring their two dogs and they were wonderful company for our Dino. No problems, just fun. We would recommend them highly. And, since they spend most of ... Continue Reading

Jonathan did a splendid job for us. We really felt like he had things under control. We had a household issue while we were gone which he handled very well. Jonathan oversaw installation of new internet service and handled that perfectly. He also handled an emergency with our cat beautifully, getting her the care she needed. We felt Jonathan was very conscientious, enabling us to enjoy our trip with complete peace of mind. We recommend him highly.

Sitting for Larry and Sandra was such a pleasure. There is ongoing construction work at their property. It was great to watch the progress of the workmen building walls, supporting structures and a pool while we were there for 1 month. The house is very nicely appointed, the kitchen well equipped, and the bed is most comfortable. The decks are terrific to sit out on and watch and hear the sounds of the city below. It is conveniently located to both cities Chapala and Ajijic (and directly beside the best restaurant, Tacos de Las Palmas). There are no pets to care for. The owners provided a car which was much appreciated. Larry and Sandra are the most pleasant and accommodating owners. They even fulfilled our wish list of items to be brought back from the U.S. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to recommend this sit.

Ben and Oscar house sat for myself and my cats this last week. They did a great job! Everything was clean and in order when I returned and my cats were happy and the garden watered. I would recommend them and will be happy to use them again any time. House sit was mid-June 2019. Kimberly B.

A beautiful home walking distance from the center of San Miguel de Allende. Kimberly's two cats were friendly and very easy to care for. Kimberly left detailed instructions and quickly responded to my questions by text. The bedroom we used was on the top floor with a nice breeze and amazing view over the city. There was a comfortable outdoor (but covered) living area on the roof. Top notch! Tip: the walk from the center back the house isn\'t far but it\'s mostly uphill. We walked into ... Continue Reading

We walked into the city but, when tired, took an Uber back for a very reasonable 50 pesos (less than US$3).

Helena, Jim and Cory could not have been more hospitable and fun to be with in the time we were both in the house. Cory was very easy to look after, and warmed up for cuddles quickly. The property was both elegant and comfortable. Located inside a very serene gated community near the centre of Ajijic, the house had a great yard for Cory and our dogs to roam around and a beautiful view of the lake. Located inside a very serene gated community near the centre of Ajijic, the house had a great yard for Cory and our dogs to roam around and a beautiful view of the lake. The gated community has a handsome pool and entertainment patio, and lovely paved streets lined with flowers and shrubs on which to walk the dogs. Our hosts kindly shared their fridge and pantry extensive offerings, and as Helena appears to be an informative master chef, it was considerable in scope! Helena and Jim were also great sources of information on local activities and communities. As they left us very few tasks to take care of, Jeff had time to seek out a few little things to fix (the property is already very well looked after by Helena, Jim, their housekeeper and garden team) and I had time to bake a surprise for them. This was in every way a most enjoyable housesit, and we certainly hope to see our kind hosts in the future either at their home or ours.

Kathleen did a wonderful job. She knows San Miguel de Allende well and is right at home here. My two dogs liked her very much and I was so happy to see them happy. She was kind enough to extend her stay when I had to be away longer than planned due to medical reasons. I would look foreword to having her again.

We loved our month sit at Jordan and Debbie's home. A slice of paradise and relaxations, and we *absolutely loved* their 3 wonderful, affectionate pups. We were comfortable from beginning to end, had great communication throughout our sit, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a sit here! Enjoy!
