Johann and Aurea were wonderful sitters. They walked the dogs, three of them, every day and took great care of the cats, particularly our very sensitive Rocky. The house was left impeccable and we were left a tortilla de papa and bottle of wine for dinner. Our local friends enjoyed Hans and Aurea, and they seemed to enjoy meeting them. Hans and Aurea live in Australia, but if they are ever near us again we would love to have them sit again, or just say hello. Phyllis Skaglund

I had the privilege of House Sitting for this awesome couple Teri & Michael while they were on a prolonged trip to California. I took care of some urgent matters for them while they were on their trip and everything went smoothly. They had no pets to attend to so it was an enjoyable sit simply being certain the house was safe and secure. Joanne and Anthony were amaaaaaaazing house-sitters! They looked after my house and cats like they were their own, kept things tidy, took photos of my kitties and sent them to me (such a sweet thing to do), were fast and clear communicators, gave the gardener an envelope of money from me each month...and generally kept everything going swimmingly during the hot, humid, rainy months they were here. Even when the cisterna ran out of water they were cool and collected and, between us, we got the cisterna filled by the pipa truck. One never knows how anyone is going to react to being steeped in the hot, humid jungly coast of Mexico in a house without AC where there are all sorts critters around and it can feel unbearably hot - but Joanne and Anthony just took it all in stride. Fantastic attitudes. I was so happy that we had a week on either side of their stay so that we could go out for dinner and connect - such fascinating, warm, kind, generous people! I will miss them! Angela was great! One of my cats got sick while I was away. She contacted me via WhatsApp with the details, and I decided that it was a good idea to take him to the vet. Angela was at the vet's office with the cat the next morning when it opened. She continued to keep me informed of the situation. My house was neat and clean when I returned home, and my plants were thriving.

Elizabeth is a house sitter of the highest caliber. I would have her back anytime and recommend her very highly. Wolfy is an adorable and affectionate little guy! Although he’s older and bit frail, he’s very good about taking the meds, going for short walks, and he likes a long afternoon nap. Carol is a wonderful woman and I enjoyed meeting her. She has a lovely, private and quiet home that makes for a very comfortable stay. I made full use of Alexa and Netflix and her great kitchen.
