Angela was our first housesitter & we were so delighted to meet her. She was so highly skilled, knowledgeable & reliable. Our 2 cats fell in love with her & that is most important to us. We were amazed at how well she adapted to our off the beaten track home. We feel we’ve made a lifelong friend with her. She’s completely self reliant & was able to walk to town which is quite a distance, enthusiastically. We sincerely hope to arrange another Housesit with her soon.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to sit for Carole and Kenny and their 2 cats. They have a lovely home that they welcomed me into and showed me around Guanajuato before they left..it was my first visit there so it helped get me orientated, also introduced me to a few people so there was help if needed..all went well and I absolutely loved hiking around the area, I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for a second invite..

We sat for Suzanne and David's two chihuahua's for about two lovely weeks in October 2023. Sammy and Luisa have completely different personalities. Both prefer to be in your lap most of the time and love to snuggle but follow commands to stay down when needed. Sammy loves to lap sit and cuddle but just doesn't like to be hugged. It makes him feel trapped and he will become agressive, but aside from that, he's lovable. Luisa is the cutest little girl with and extra long tongue which sticks out... Continue Reading

Suzanne and Dave have a darling true Mexican style, three story home up the hill from the church. The home is stocked with all the cookware you need to stay in and cook your meals or walk down to the beach and enjoy a meal on the ocean. The second and third floor of the home have amazing ocean views. We stayed up on the third floor balcony every evening at sunset. It was amazing! Suzanne and Dave were very responsive to any needs or questions we had. We would definitely stay and sit with Sammy and Luisa again!

Oh my goodness, Becca and Lou were wonderful house/pet sitters! Communication with these two was very clear and reliable, they checked in with us before, during and after the sit. Our two dogs can be a handful, but they bonded right away. Becca and Lou experience caring for dogs and are familiar with training techniques. Since we've been back, there's a noticeable improvement in our dogs' behavior when walking on leash. This was not part of the sit expectations, but it sure has been a plea... Continue Reading

We house sat for Suzanne & David recently and had a wonderful time!! They are a very sweet couple, they made us feel right at home. Their house was extremely clean when we got there which is very much appreciated. We could tell that they like to keep their living space very clean and organized. Their two dogs are very cute. Shaimaa and Addie were just what our Mimi needed. Mimi is shy and they instinctually knew to let her warm to them, a quick time later I received photos of Mimi in Shaimaa’s arms! They took very good care of her and our home. I would gladly have them back to our home for other house sitting opportunities And highly recommend them to watch your beloved pet!

I sat for Jill's villa and amazing rescue dog Canelo at Chacala, Nayarit for three months (summer 2023). This was such an amazing adventure I will cherish forever. I really enjoyed taking Canelo on long walks through the jungle and across the beach, as well as going for sunset swims everyday! Canelo was the most noble and loyal dog I've had the pleasure to sit for, I really enjoyed his companionship and good-natured spirit. Taking care of him was a pretty easy task as long as he got his daily walks, he would then relax for the rest of the day at the Villa Cascada de Flores garden area, taking in the beauty of the environment. Already missing him... General upkeep of the villa was supervised by myself and Airbnb guests were always greeted and given a tour, I really enjoyed taking in this experience for future sits with similar set-ups. Jill's attentions were top notch, I am really thankful for her generosity and hospitality. Her home has anything you could ever ask for and more!

Sandi and Bill were amazing housesitters. This is the first time I have used this site and I am very pleased with how it works. Sandi and Bill fit right in with my family of dogs and I was very comfortable leaving them in charge and going on vacation. We were thrilled to return to Gloria's house for a second sit. In March 2022 Gloria's and Bella's house was our first house sit in the Lake Chapala area. We always called Bella our #1 dog and for more than one reason. Bella is a great dog and so very easy to care for. Correction! We had a great time taking care of Geraldine’s pups, all very friendly and sweet. We arrived a couple of days before to meet the dogs and Geraldine and to get familiar with the house and their routine. We were made to feel very welcome. The house is lovely, we were very comfortable. The dogs warmed to us very quickly, 2 days in they were all vying for space on the bed. We’d happily sit for Geraldine and the dogs again.

Jenny is an absolute delight. She was very communicative, arrived on schedule, took amazing care of our fur babies, and left the house spotless when she left. I highly recommend her, as you would be hard pressed to find a better person to care for your home and family.
