Ixchel is a very savvy individual. When she arrived at our house we had a major change in her assignment. After her agreement to sit for us. Our house had been put up for sale. She didn't flinch. She worked with the agents involved and within a about a week the hose sold. We would not hesitate for a second to have her back if she would agree to. There should be more like her.

Jacqueline's dogs were so adorable. They were easy to take care of and Jacqueline gave good instructions for their care. The dogs and I loved spending mornings and evenings on the rooftop terrace looking over Queretaro!

Beverly and Don have a beautiful and comfortable home with a spectacular view of Lago de Chapala, they were generous with transportation including the use of their car for 3 weeks. Sally and Joey, their 2 rescue dogs, are playful and lovable, what fun it was to play with these two energetic canines! Lovely people and fun dogs!

Doug and Gail took amazing care of our 2 dogs and our home for 3 weeks. Our dogs loved them and everything in the house was perfect. They even took the time to send us pictures while we were away. We shared our car and came home to a cleaner one than we left. They live in Mexico and speak Spanish. We will definitely be calling them next summer. Wish we could give them 10 stars.

Sammie is an adorable golden doodle and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and taking care of her. The home has great views of Lake Chapala and is located near most restaurants and stores can be accessed locally nearby. The Ajijic area has many expats and English is widely spoken, locals are friendly and the area has excellent weather. Sammie was such a joy!

Ransom was a fun and easy midi-dachshund to sit for and, as a neighbor put it, "like a big housecat." He loves to play fetch, which is his primary source of exercise since he does not care for walks. Leaving during the day to shop or explore town is not a problem because Ransom does fine on his own between meals. Annette was very nice and kept in contact with us the whole month she was in Canada. She answered any questions or concerns we had as quickly as possible. The casita is attractive, modern, comfortable, and has a secure parking place for a vehicle. It is a mother-in-law style home partially attached to a larger home. The kitchen sink water is treated. Be aware that this house sit is best suited for someone with a vehicle, since it is 4-1/2 kilometers (2.8 miles) into Ajijic and the walk up to the bus stop on the highway is 400 meters (1/4 mile). Uber is not available in Ajijic and sometimes the taxis fail to show up as promised. The Wi-Fi is good enough to stream Netflix on your laptop and we participated in a quality one-hour Zoom call, but receiving cellphone calls or sending texts is sometimes not possible even with Wi-Fi calling. There is no over-the-air cell signal. There is a land-line phone. Jonathan and Edith looked after my house and dogs for two weeks and did a great job! I was on vacation on the other side of the world in a totally different time zone and I never worried about a thing. I liked knowing that my dogs had two people to care for them. Edith is Mexican and therefor fluent in Spanish and Jonathan has many years living in Mexico so I knew they would be able to handle any house or vet situation that might come up. Fortunately, none did. They stepped up to solve a problem with CFE while I was gone, too! My dogs were happy and healthy when I got back, my house was clean and the plants were well-watered. I also appreciated that they kept their commitment to me even though they had some serious car trouble right before the housesit was supposed to start.
