It all started with great hosts and homeowners Monica and Terry who provided us with clear detailed instructions outlining caring for their lovely beach side condo, the pups - Aby and Zora, aquarium and indoor/outdoor plants. Their home is well equipped, neat and tidy with a comfortable well appointed guest room and ensuite. We were provided a vehicle which gave us access to some of most amazing beaches and road trips to some nearby towns. Also, kayaks, bicycles and SUP’s were available for our use as well. Aby and Zora were delightful and looked forward to their beach walks and curling up with us in the evenings for some quiet time. Communication with Terry and Monica was easy via WhatsApp when any questions arose throughout our time. LaPaz is a beautiful city with a gorgeous malecon and a great restaurant and coffee shoppe scene. All in all we could not have asked for a more enjoyable assignment. Thank you Terry and Monica for the opportunity to care for your fur and fin family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thank you.

Barry and Maxine were the best House Sitters. They were very responsible and took great care of my two dogs, aquarium, home and garden. The dogs were happy with the care of Maxine and Barry. The 40-gallon aquarium required biweekly water changes and monthly filter maintenance which they performed while I was away for two months. Pets: Barry (dog): A senior dog—smart, sweet, intuitive, and very easy to walk. She knows her way around town and is well-loved; many locals and expats recognized her during our walks. With so many restaurants and street vendors within walking distance (easily 50+), most of which welcome dogs, Barry happily joined me on almost all of my outings. Sparky (cat): Extremely affectionate, sweet, and easy to care for. Always ready for love and attention. CP (cat): A little more independent but still nearby much of the time. CP often came in for a quick brush or pet and especially liked keeping me company in the TV room. Overall Experience: Their furry family members were an absolute joy to care for, and the home was a comfortable, inspiring base for exploring Guanajuato. This was a truly special sit, and I would gladly return anytime.

She watered our plants and everything looked great and she even bought a few plants which our 2 cats destroyed while she was on a call. She didn't have to do that I know that is just Jane (caring, nice, friendly, thoughtful,....). I highly recommend her if she responds to an ad. We would definitely use her again if so lucky to do so!

It was especially a pleasure to be able to drink the (filtered) tap water! While I had some reservation due to the lack of A/C, there were very few days or nights in May that were uncomfortably hot, and none in July. The location is also excellent, in a gated community with 24/7 security, gorgeous gardens and a huge communal pool, all in the heart of Ajijic, but far enough above it that the sounds of the city were almost never an issue. If you're comfortable navigating cobblestone streets and steep hills on foot, you can be in the town centre in about 15-20 minutes, or in the blink of an eye by car. Nature lovers will be happy to know that the Tepalo hiking trails are right next door. Overall, communication was very good and I felt welcome, secure, and at home in this warm and generous couple's lovely home!

We enjoyed our sit at Louisa’s home. We appreciated coming the day prior to the sit to orient ourselves to the house and cats. Her 2 cats were very easy to care for. Very shy, but they did warm to us after awhile. We had daily contact with Louisa during her absence. The garden and pool were an oasis to relax in. Because they were low maintenance, at Louisa’s urging we were able to explore Cuernavaca and the pueblos mágico near by.

Martin drove all the way from Mexico City and managed to be right on time. Martin adapted perfectly to Mimi’s shy and cautious nature and let her gradually become comfortable with him. It didn’t take too long before they were best buddies. Martin is a great communicator and provided timely photos of Mimi sitting in his lap. My wife and I can both recommend Martin to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
