We sat for Burney and Shayla's three dogs for over a week in June and had a blast! They were wonderful hosts, making sure we got to their home ok and showed us around town before they left the next morning. X We sat for Burney and Shayla's three dogs for over a week in June and had a blast! They were wonderful hosts, making sure we got to their home ok and showed us around town before they left the next morning. Shayla did a wonderful job of putting together a sheet of each dog's preferences, feeding schedule, vet info, and recommended restaurants (they are foodies). They also stayed in contact by text if we had questions or wanted to share doggie pix. Miles is a 130 lb Rottweiler, and a real character. He loved to sit right up next to our legs for a deep massage. He can seem tough at first, but he is a gentle giant. He LOVES to watch TV, especially when there are dogs on it! Sugar is a 50 lb Pit, and her name fits her personality; absolutely sweet. She's a bit shy, and takes her time eating, but she loves cuddles and rubs. Indie is a 25 lb bulldog, and OMG! She is a character! She looks at you with her little smashed nose and underbite, and you can't help but crack up. She likes attention, and wants her belly rubbed as often as possible. All of the dogs are on a raw diet. Shayla and Burney had everything organized so that we had no trouble following their directions. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all of them; they were the highlight of our trip!

We just had our second house sit with sitters through HouseSitMexico, and again were extremely pleased! Our sitters, Ed and Nellie, were here for 2 weeks. They took great care of our home and plants, and our fur baby Bubba. He was very fond of them! Our house sitters from HouseSitMexico, Michell and Todd H. looked after our house and three dogs for a week. I couldn’t be happier! They did a wonderful job and the only negative thing that I could come up with is our dogs seemed to love them as much as they do us. Our house was in better shape when they left than when they arrived. Our dogs are on a special diet- which was no problem for Michell and Todd. Eva seemed to settle in well at our place and took very good care of our pets - 3 dogs and a cat. We were in England so felt relaxed knowing that our house and menagerie in Mexico were in good hands. She was very good about keeping in touch with us by e-mail to assure us that all was well which was greatly appreciated. Certainly would recommend her to anyone looking for a house/pet sit. Janet & Paul were truly angels! We could not have found better house and pet sitters! Daily, we told each other how grateful we were to have Janet and Paul (and their small Yorkie) taking care of a large variety of plants and our rescue puppies during the month we were away traveling. He is crated at night and when they leave the house. We so appreciated their thoughtful care and attention to details like these with our house and our pups! We had just rescued two 4-month old pups with respiratory infections from a vacant lot on our street. It was an immense commitment of love and heart on their part to care for them, and we could not have asked for any better! They sent us pics and updates, trained them, plus took them for multiple vet visits, and coordinated with the rescue orgs for us, and more. We returned to an immaculately clean home, and well trained pups! Their steadfast commitment to details and responsibility is tops! Janet and Paul have our highest recommendation!

Jonathan was a fantastic house sitter. Our young dog Namo can be a handful, and Jonathan was very patient with him. Both he and his cat brother Bodhi were in great spirits when we arrived home. From the very first contact, they made me feel warm and welcome by even picking me up at the airport and taking me to dinner. I was amazed when they offered for me to help myself to any of the food in the fridge and cabinets. I love the blonde haired Marion in the picture. She now has darker hair, but Marion and Jeff were great housesitters. They took great care of the house and our 13 year old "puppy" with lots of love and attention. Jeff even fixed a couple of things in the house, without even asking. Our stove burners now work great! Jonathan did a splendid job for us. We really felt like he had things under control. We had a household issue while we were gone which he handled very well. Jonathan oversaw installation of new internet service and handled that perfectly. He also handled an emergency with our cat beautifully, getting her the care she needed. We felt Jonathan was very conscientious, enabling us to enjoy our trip with complete peace of mind. We recommend him highly.

Sitting for Larry and Sandra was such a pleasure. There is ongoing construction work at their property. It was great to watch the progress of the workmen building walls, supporting structures and a pool while we were there for 1 month. It is conveniently located to both cities Chapala and Ajijic (and directly beside the best restaurant, Tacos de Las Palmas). There are no pets to care for. The owners provided a car which was much appreciated. Larry and Sandra are the most pleasant and accommodating owners. They even fulfilled our wish list of items to be brought back from the U.S. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to recommend this sit.
