Alex was the perfect choice to care for our home and animals. He arrived when he promised and learned the quirks of our home. He sent photo updates of our animals too. He was very prompt on replying to my Messenger queries. I would certainly ask him to house sit again.

Elton and Giulina from Brazil are the best house and pet sitters I've ever had. They took care of my labrador Coco like she was their own. They speak fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese; perfect to communicate with me and my workers at Lake Chapala. They left the house organized and clean. They even washed my car and filled the gas tank. I hope to have them pet sit again! Carolyn

I am so grateful to have met Maira and had her stay in my home with my animals and plants for 10 days. Maira is a lovely person with amazing communication skills. We checked in at least once a day and she was so sweet to send me pics of my pets and video chat with me from time to time. I came back to my home in perfect condition and she even gifted me her book which she wrote and is heartwarming. Would love to have Maira back and really enjoyed her company as well in the time we were together.

Our housesit at Gino and Linda’s home was very enjoyable. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel welcome. They thought of every possible way to make us feel at home and comfortable. We quickly formed a bond with them and all four dogs. Each dog has their own wonderful personality. It was a pleasure to take care of all four of them. X Mirna is the type of homeowner that 'sitters' dream about. She left clear, concise instructions about pet care. We appreciated that the house sit plans included overlap days on both Mirna's arrival and departure dates for orientation and later for some more get-to-know-you time. On arrival, we were introduced to her next-door neighbour and a close friend who lived nearby, both of whom checked in with us a couple of times to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Her home was really taken care of by a woman who cleaned x3/week and a gardener who cared for the landscaping. Mirna called several times while away to do check-ins which we appreciated. She is so approachable that we felt we could contact her anytime. There were a couple of issues affecting the internet that Mirna attended to promptly and helped us arrange times for service people to come to the house at times that worked for both parties. We were made to feel very comfortable with closet and dresser space, a private bathroom, full use of the kitchen and living room, etc. Mirna left us suggestions of things to do and where to eat. While her home is within walking distance to Centro and other interesting neighbourhoods as well as a gallery, she left us a vehicle so that we could explore a little further away. Finally, Sofi is an adorable, well-behaved dog who is a pleasure to be with. We look forward to returning to Sofi and Mirna's home in a couple of months and are confident in recommending a house and Sofi-sit with Mirna to other sitters. As an aside, we truly loved San Miguel de Allende, such a lovely little city to spend some time in.

We were very impressed with Lynne and Elmo. We had regular updates and videos through what\'s app. Our dogs quickly adjust to their new family members including sleeping with them. We had some fairly new grass and some new plants that we asked if they could water while we were gone. When we got back everything was growing and looking great. The house was clean and tidy and Elmo even cleaned the BBQ! Everything went very smoothly and we would highly recommend them.

House & pet sitting for Evelyne & Bob was a fabulous experience. Their 4 small dogs are the cutest, I totally fell in love with them. Two of them always slept with me every night (Rudy likes to snuggle in under the covers) & Spot would choose between myself & my brother to sleep with. Their house is lovely & very comfortable. Bob & Evelyne are great as well, we loved connecting with them, they're inspiring! Their house is outside the city & there's nothing really around it. They had to take their car last minute to the States with them but thankfully at the end of their road, colectivos pass all the time so it was easy to get to the supermarket & back. Also a great fruit & veg truck passed twice a week so it was easy to manage once we got our bearings. We loved this sit & hope to be back to see/mind the doggies another time :-).

I just had my second experience with house sitters looking after my English Springer. Again it was a great experience. Paul and Linda stayed at my house for close to a month. They gave loving care and attention to my pet and home and even dealt with a few challenges while I was away. I was able to go on my vacation without having to worry. We had such a great time at Carolyn's house in San Juan Cosalá. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and Carolyn provided everything in order to make our stay special. Her house is really beautiful and cozy and we loved our afternoons at her front yard with Coco. She is the sweetest girl and the best companion.
