It was a pleasure dealing with Maurice & Avril. They communicated clearly before the housesit and gave clear written instructions before they left the house in our care. Their home has many amenities and the gated community very safe and clean. The homeowners' expectations were fair and easy to meet. The two dogs were very sweet and pleasure to care for. Their home has many amenities and the gated community very safe and clean. The homeowners' expectations were fair and easy to meet. The two dogs were very sweet and pleasure to care for. My only complaint is that the larger dog (Winston) is not fully trained on leash walking. I did try to teach him not to pull on the leash but I'm not sure if I made much progress in three weeks. A handler experienced with larger dogs is probably best for walking Winston. We would recommend this house to others who are looking for a housesit near Ajijic. It's about a 10 minute drive to the center of Ajijic so it might be best if the housesitter had a car or were given permission to use the homeowner's car.Ben & Oscar housesitter October 04, 2018
We just finished housesitting for Debbie and Jordan for 7 days. The dogs, Mimi, Gwen, and Preston were great. The house, and grounds were beautiful. They have a big yard for the dogs to run around in, but the off leash dog run is just a block away. The dogs loved it. The pool in the yard is great also. We would housesit for them again.
