With Frida it was love at first wag! She came right out to receive us she and was a bundle of cuddles that never left our side. We enjoyed her so much! Mary is organized, very meticulous and an absolute delight. She kept everything clean, the fur kids were very happy and they received a lot of attention while I was away. Mary was very responsive to messages and even picked up one of my pups from the vet the day I left. I will definitely use her again if she isn’t just inundated with requests to sit…and I know she will be!

Sitting pets and house for Susan was a pleasure! She briefed us the day before and left written instructions too. Susan planned well for every contingency and left cash for emergencies, which came in handy when the water supply failed. Her two pups won our hearts. The house and plants are beautiful. We felt like we were on vacation in paradise!

Just wonderful. I had Gail and Doug here taking care of my home and my two pups. Everything went crazy when I left. No electricity, water etc. could not have had a better couple here to make sure everything was attended to. They took care of everything, including giving the pups more attention than they get from me. I want them back everytime I leave!

I had a wonderful and peaceful sit in Ajijic with my pal Wes. The house location is just a few blocks from the lake with wonderful views. It's walking distance to all that Ajijic has to offer and a quick taxi or bus ride to some epic aguas termales. Wes was a super friendly guy, he just wanted to hang around you and go for walk here and there. He has a very mellow energy, is super friendly with other dogs and people. Suzy was awesome! We have two needy cats and one needs medication. We also have many plants that need to be taken care of. We can tell by the way our cats act when we get home how good the House Sitter was. Suzy nailed it! All of our plants were healthy but most of all both of our cats were very well-adjusted and not hiding. She was able to keep Saba on a diet as well as give him his medicine. Brigid did a very good job caring for my house. Her main duty was watering plants in the patios and garden. She also kept the house secure, which was most important. She was in frequent communication. She also fed and gave affection to a neighbor’s cat while she was away. Brigid is a caring and responsible person who I highly recommend.

Plus, he’s a handy guy and can fix some small home issues, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, Hans had to leave half-way through the housesit due to an unexpected family issue. I would have preferred that he was able to finish the housesit, but these things happen. He kept me very informed and reassured me not to worry about anything. Luckily, he found at housesitter for me, so that I could continue with my travels. I know this was rare, unexpected and unavoidable. The dogs and the house were in good condition when I returned home.

Andrew is great. He took care of the garden and house in addition to the pets. I really appreciated knowing all was in good hands while I was away. The house was tidy when I got back and he kept in constant contact with me while I was gone. And he has a secret talent, cooking. If you are very lucky, he will leave you leftovers.

We really hit the jackpot when we found Janet and Michael. There are always challenges in Mexico with water, electricity, wifi, and wind, not to mention the 4 pets they were housesitting. It turned out to be more challenging than we had thought and they had to make several trips to the doctor and to the pharmacy for medications. They even came up with creative ways to get Phoenix to take his medicine! They took care of payments to our housekeeper, gardener, and the water bill. After six weeks we came home to healthy animals and a well-kept house. We would certainly have Janet and Michael house sit for us again and are happy they chose us for their inaugural sit.
