Cathie and Brian are super sitters and truly lovely people. They came over for a meet and greet before the stay and my dogs were immediately at ease with them and their sweet dog Doc. I was initially concerned about them bringing Doc but he gets along just fine even with my quirky Sheepadoodle Bodhi. Michael took very good care of my dog, Rebel. He can be a challenge a to walk to I appreciate Michael coming a day early to learn his routine and take such good care of him. My first (2 week) HouseSitMexico assignment was for Joy and her pitbull, Rebel, in lovely San Miguel de Allende. Rebel is an older dog with poor eyesight. He is friendly with people and was very relaxed and affectionate with me from day one. Rebel is an easy going dog at home and a real trooper outside the house, who enjoyed his active one hour morning walks in a beautiful park just outside the city. A great workout for me too 🙂 He also liked the morning car rides and afternoon/evening street walks. Yoy checked in regularly to make sure everthing was going well with me and Rebel. She gave me all the necessary dog/house/car instructions in advance and her comfortable home is in a great "Centro" location. Taking care of Bodhi and Milo was a pleasure - what personalities! Mariah's home was comfortable, peaceful, and very convenient to most things. Mariah has a nice easy energy about her, and she was great with communicating - not too much, not too little. We met some interesting, friendly people right away, too, thanks to Mariah - and the dogs being a conversational piece. ;-0) There's a lovely park at the end of the street where the dogs can run free and chase the ball. Great sit!

I had the great fortune of caring for Canelo in Chacala, Nayarit. Canelo's mom, Jill, is exceptionally attentive. Los Labradores is, in our opinion, a gated community well-done - lots of healthy gardens and trees throughout, cafe, gym, pools, LIBRARY, daily shuttle to town, event center, DOG PARK, weekly farmer's market, quiet streets, friendly considerate people, very attentive guards, pickleball and tennis courts, trampolines... And adjoining el campo where sweet silence can be heard. Gracias, Carla, Chet and pups for providing an excellent beginning to our new life in SMA. :-0)

Jonathan, in particular, seemed to thrive on the relationship he quickly developed with all four. Further, the care given to all aspects of our home and property leaves us with great satisfaction in not having to worry about anything. Hopefully, with the concerns of the pandemic now retreating, we hope to have future opportunities for Jon and Edith and......we simply hope that the timing for our needs is in concert with theirs.
