Monique took excellent care of Patty & Sal and was great with providing updates throughout. She was flexible with arrival and departure times and very friendly and easy to communicate with beforehand and throughout. We came home to two very relaxed and happy cats which is the ideal! I would definitely recommend Monique as a housesitter.

We really enjoyed house sitting for Margie. A really beautiful house with three wonderful dogs included what could be better. Margie is an experienced home owner and has a folder full of information and help. It was our first time in Patzcuaro and we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves here. The dogs are very easy to look after so friendly and love to sit and cuddle. There is a beautiful garden to sit out in and its a very safe and quiet area. The dogs are very easy to look after so friendly and love to sit and cuddle. There is a beautiful garden to sit out in and its a very safe and quiet area. We didn't need a car it's a short walk to the supermarket and outside are plenty of combis and taxis to take you anywhere. There are lots of short afternoon out trips you can take and plenty of food options or the house has a brilliant kitchen in fact the whole house is so well set out and comfortable. 100% recommended.

Barbara house/pet sat at my house for five weeks during May/June 2023. I had her arrive a couple of days early so that she could become acclimated to my two cats, and to my home. Her self professed love for cats was evident from the get go. She bonded with my male cat immediately, and apparently that stayed the case during the whole time here. X Barbara house/pet sat at my house for five weeks during May/June 2023. I had her arrive a couple of days early so that she could become acclimated to my two cats, and to my home. Her self professed love for cats was evident from the get go. She bonded with my male cat immediately, and apparently that stayed the case during the whole time here. It was still true when I returned home as I let her stay in my house an extra day until her next assignment began. My other cat is a feed me, let me outside when I want otherwise do not bother me type (she's bonded only to me). So she let her be as she wanted. The litter box was clean, and my house was left clean as well with all items in place as I left them. She handled a maintenance issue in my kitchen by contacting a good friend of mine whose number I had left with her. I also left Barbara an emergency fund in case it was needed which was returned in full upon my return. Barbara loves Mexico as she sold her place in the U.S. and has been traveling around this country in her car with her possessions for the last six months before she took on her first assignment at my house.

Jo was very charming, open and communicative from the first time we made contact. She was always very clear about her availability and her travel plans. She was a perfect cat sitter, sending me updates and pictures, and my pet Velvet loved her. She got on well with my housekeeper and there were no issues at all during her one month stay at my house. I highly reccommend Jo.

I had a great time in Morelia! Betty, the Labrador, was a lot of fun to be around and take care of. I've been home for a couple of weeks now, but I still miss her. Triny and Michael are wonderful and extremely considerate people who want to make sure their house-sitter has everything they could possibly want or ask for. The locals are very friendly and helpful, and it is easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. While is seems like most people in Morelia speak English, they love it when you talk to them in Spanish. Thank you, Triny and Michael, for a wonderful experience!

You will be happy if you choose Maky and Nero as your house sitters. Our dogs were well taken care of and walked regularly. The house was left clean and tidy. We had some water system issues while away and they communicated well, trouble shooting for us. Dealt with plumbers and persevered through a heat wave with no complaints. I highly recommend using them.

I doubt that I could have had a better experience with HouseSitMexico than I had with Carol. She was simply 'above and beyond' my high expectations. She is an organized and very conscientious individual and will do what is needed to take care of your house in the way an owner would. She left my house in better shape than I could imagine with small gifts and surprises along the way. But the best thing that she did was provide very loving care to my large dog. I, or rather my dog, came home from a kennel last year and clearly hadn't had a good time. It took a month for her to return to her normal happy, friendly self. Carol was so good with her, and I traveled for the first time knowing surely that she was being treated well...lots of play, long walks, a little gentle training. Carol was just the best. She is also an interesting, knowledgable person who is well-traveled and sociable. She speaks Spanish and is at ease with different cultures. I genuinely hope to keep in touch with my new friend. As I said earlier, she couldn't have been better or more responsible, and I feel very fortunate. Thank goodness for HouseSitMexico for making. this wonderful exchange possible.
