Hart and Marilyn were sweet and looked after my elderly kitty well, brushing him, giving him twice daily insulin shots, and even feeding him chicken off their plates. They also cared for my plants and house so well! They went out of their way to ensure they arrived on the date we agreed, even though they were held up in the US waiting for some paperwork needed to bring their Canadian plates car into Mexico. Michele took care of our home and our new rescue dog Lena for 2 weeks. She took special attention to help her gain weight and cared for her dry skin, it was so great to see her looking better. Michele also cared for all our pots on the deck. We returned to a clean and happy home.

Justine did a fabulous job taking care of our house and plants. We have a garden on the roof and a big tree and plants inside the house and she watered on schedule and lovingly tended to the garden, plants and tree. Everything looked great when we got back. Sue and Dot were excellent. I felt comfortable with them the moment we met. They sent periodic pics of the place during our absence, and the neighbors even complimented them on our return. The house was cleaner than when we left. Even our housekeeper complimented them, saying that the dogs loved them.

Burney and Shayla were very welcoming and left great instructions. We had a lovely time in Bucerias, easy access to beach. Just be careful crossing the main road. Supermarket and other stores walking distance. Lovely market where you can buy literally anything. We took Indriver to Puerto Vallarta and the bus back as we knew to get off at Chedraui in Bucerias. Sitting for Sparky and Murfy was a simple affair. They are both loving, quiet, and relaxed smaller dogs; but strong like oxes when they spot something on their walks! Kitchen has all the modern gadgets, nice appliances. In the country, yet in a small gated community - this is the best of both worlds. There is a warm community pool. It's a 1/4 mile (slight downhill) to the main road where the bus passes and it made for a quick and easy run into Chapala for supplies. The internet/wifi is strong and consistent. It was such a welcoming experience sitting for Ellen's fur babies at her home/BnB. Great communication throughout the application and selection process. Upon arrival she took us on a mini shopping trip to her favorite local grocers, veggie stand, and butcher. We were even provided a tasty Mexican dinner on our first night (beer included!) while hanging out by the fire on the comfy 2nd floor patio. We enjoyed spending time at Ellen's spacious and eclectic home (during Day of the Dead festivities) and enjoyed visiting Aguascalientes and the nearby town of Jesus Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Note: the homeowners are smokers inside of the home. Michelle and Chad were great. They were flexible with our departure and arrival dates, the house was clean and tidy when we returned, and my plants were all happy. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We exchanged several notes while we were gone, so I felt connected with them as well. We would have them back again if our schedules allow.

Michael and Beth were wonderful house and pet sitters. Both my dogs were very well cared for as well as my home. They kept in touch with me and handled a minor health issue with the same care and concern that I would have. From the moment they arrived they bonded with both dogs. I really felt comfortable leaving my dogs in their care. They were here for five months and have kindly agreed to come back next year when I return to Canada for the summer.
