Kristen lives in a fabulous location- Condesa. Her apt is bigger than it looks in the photos. The neighborhood connects to other wonderful neighborhoods, and Parque Espana, and Parque Mexico. The tree-lined avenues are just a delight. I am a visual person so I was in a wonderland. Kristen is a delight and I fell in love with Roxy. She is a very mellow girl. She likes being brushes, It is a good way to bond with her. Fun place!

We really enjoyed house sitting for Tim & Bernita. Belle is their cat & she loves to chat. She was really easy to take care of & she warmed to us which we were happy about because Bernita had mentioned that sometimes she can have separation anxiety. We sat for Freddy & Ron in their beautiful home in the Los Frailes area of San Miguel De Allende. The home is beautifully decorated; classic Mexican architecture runs throughout the house. Every room, including bathrooms, has a boveda ceiling; every door is framed in an archway, and the Mexican tilework throughout is gorgeous. We sat for Freddy & Ron in their beautiful home in the Los Frailes area of San Miguel De Allende. The home is beautifully decorated; classic Mexican architecture runs throughout the house. Every room, including bathrooms, has a boveda ceiling; every door is framed in an archway, and the Mexican tilework throughout is gorgeous. The grounds are immaculately landscaped, and the rear outside area in a beautiful garden with walking paths and tables, a great place to sit and read in the afternoon next to a bubbling brook built into the landscape. Freddy & Ron are a very cordial couple. An advantage of this sit is that, as much as we enjoy caring for pets, that responsibility was not present, and we were free to spend our days as we wished. FYI: The home is at the far end of the development, almost a mile walk to the nearest bus stop. In November of 2020, the taxi fare was 80 pesos to the city center (around $4 or so). Busses run regularly and were 7 pesos each way. (30 cents or so). On the other hand, Los Frailes is a beautiful development filled with many large, beautiful homes, and the ambiance is peaceful and quiet. Karen and her brother completed a two and a half week house and pet sitter assignment for me. The pets took to both of them right away because they know animal lovers when they meet them. It was obvious, when I returned, they had been very well cared for. I can’t thank them enough for their conscientious caregiving!

Petsitting for Deborah was a joy. The animals were so easy to look after & they all stole my heart (especially Colita!). There were 4 cats & 2 dogs, and they were all sweethearts. There is a shop nearby for supplies, but she also had bikes which made it handy to get about as there are cycle lanes all the way to Chapala. She made me feel super comfortable leaving my cat Roxy with her. She stayed at my apartment for about a week and we were in contact daily. I know she kept Roxy good company and she gave her a brushing every day. I am so thankful for Maria\'s gentle personality and the time she spent here!

The home is in a quiet neighbourhood, overlooking Lake Chapala but is a quick drive to the Soriana Supermarket, etc. They left detailed instructions on caring for their two sweet male cats, which was appreciated. Cristina and I had a lovely time staying in Glen's home and looking after her cat, Ginger. Her home is just a short walk from the center and really beautiful. We loved minding Melissa & Jonathan's adorable pup Tochi. He was only 4 months old but he was house trained, never whined having to go into his crate and slept through the night (a couple of nights he woke to go to the toilet but went straight back into his crate after). We were so impressed with how good he was so I don\'t imagine he'll be any different as he gets older. He's super cute and he loved to play - he had lots of toys & bones to play with/chew on.
