When out of the house, Romeo quietly surveyed the end of his calle, sometimes pausing at his friend's door. He would not venture past his house towards a busy street. During walks on lead he needed encouragement to get beyond his calle. Once down to a nearby soccer field, Romeo happily walked with us to the malecón. He needed some restraint near other dogs and was less comfortable walking busy streets. We were happy to see Romeo recognized and greeted by the community on walks. Several children we met knew him too and were happy to share kibble treats we provided. At day's end we welcomed him for a cuddle in a very comfortable bed before he retired to his own on the floor. Toni's home was comfortably efficient while reflecting her creative sensibility. A Mexican color palette was bright without being overwhelming. We give Toni's sit high marks for pet behavior, excellent communication, and a walkable, welcoming local community. Thank you for choosing us, Toni.

Kathy & Doran cared for our home and three cats in Tulum and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. She took great care of my 2 cats, one of whom is going on 15 years old, and great care of my house and yard! She is punctual, communicative, resilient and dependable! We had a delightful time in Janet's home, meeting her friendly neighbors and exploring the Guadalupe neighborhood. Janet's kitchen had all the utensils and cookware that we needed to prepare our own meals, but we also savored delicious food at many different restaurants in SMA. We walked all over the city, and also took advantage of inexpensive taxis, Übers and buses. Spending over 3 weeks in SMA gave us ample opportunity to get some excellent dental work done at a clinic that we knew from our stay in 2021. Janet is a marvelous host who made us feel welcome in her home by providing closet and shelf space for our things and showing us around before she left on her trip.

Elle’s place is super comfortable and has everything you need. The dogs Winnie and Teddy have a great personality, silly and scared of simple things yet they are such large beautiful dogs. They love the dog park and i was super happy that they could be the biggest dogs around but also the sweetest and nothing to worry about around smaller pups. Her written instructions were easy to follow upon arrival. Butternut is a wonderful, energetic, and super smart pup. Due to an injury I sustained, I was limited on walking (did the morning and evening routines) and spent many hours per day (sometimes multiple) going to the local dog park to interact with other dogs (and sometimes alone) and to have room to stretch, run and play due to my limitations. In the evenings she spent time with me reading and hanging out and snuggling together on the couch or on the roof playing tug-of-war with her toys while enjoying the panoramic views. MLK kitty took a day or so to warmup but then was a bit snuggly at night. I would recommend this family of furry friends to others in a beautiful and secure apartment complex in a quiet corner of San Miguel. Hope to come back in the future.
