Cindy and John were awesome house and pet sitters! We have one dog who requires special medications, and 2 cats that have to be fed differently. John contacted us while we were gone to clarify one of the foods, so I really appreciated his conscientiousness. They left the house clean and laundered their sheets and towels, a nice surprise! They drove their car here and had to navigate past massive highway blockages created by farmers who were demonstrating for higher prices for their corn. Tractors blocked roads everywhere and backed up traffic for miles, day after day. John contacted me several days ahead to assure me that they were monitoring the situation and would be sure to come even if they had come by air instead of driving. Debra did an astounding job. My animals were well cared for. My small dog who was on leash was attacked by a bigger dog off leash, and she handled it as well as I would have. She left the house in pristine condition. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a house/pet sitter.

I was a little uncertain about caring for so many gatitos (I've cared for many but not THIS many) but each has his or her own unique and wonderful personality, and we had a lot of chatter and cuddles and so well behaved, they interact amongst themselves marvelously. Daily cat tasks, feedings and snacks were well explained and made for a quick and simple "cat-induced" schedule that was easily manageable - and supplies were a plenty. The house is well kept, clean and in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes by car from Centro (and about 45 by bus) and has all the amenities needed nearby including restaurants and tiendas and great greenbelt with a walking/running/biking path. Edward Eric (Eric) did a very good job taking care of my house and pets for ten days while I traveled. He communicated when necessary and sent updates on my pets. Everything was in order when I returned. I gave him the use of my car, which he also took good care of. I could not have asked for more!

Freda's daughter Nadine housesat for us November 9-16 (Freda joined Nadine for the first 2 days) Nadine was exceptional in every sense of the word. We actually give her 10 stars. Susanna welcomed us into her comfortable home with spectacular views and a covered porch that stays cool due to the extensive plants and trees. The neighbourhood is lovely with both street shopping and nature trails and a shady creek for dog walking. The Jardin and Parroquia are about a 20 minute walk. We enjoyed going there with Luna to enjoy the entertainment, street festivals and parades. Luna the young Pomeranian is a smart and sweet dog who enjoys being with you wherever you go in the ho... Susanna has a gardener and a housekeeper. The housekeeper is a great local resource who manages any problems that occur. The reliable internet made teleworking easy. We stayed about 7 weeks. We wanted to join the community and make friends. To help us, Susanna connected us to online groups and some of her friends.
