Nancy house sat for me for 2 weeks to take care of my 2 cats and a dog. Nancy arrived ahead of the assignment to get comfortable with the house and animals. She asked good questions and sent an appropriate amount of updates and photos to me. When I returned, the animals clearly loved her. They were very content and the house was in good order. I was happy.

We were able to meet Jon & Stacy before the sit and they showed us around their wonderful home and met their two lovely dogs. Jon & Stacy were super hosts from the very beginning. We had the use of their comfortable casita for the duration of our stay which meant we had our own space for the days before and after the sit. Caring for Obi Juan and Harkin was a pleasure. We had the use of their comfortable casita for the duration of our stay which meant we had our own space for the days before and after the sit. Caring for Obi Juan and Harkin was a pleasure. They were very easy to look after and loved playing ball in the patio in the mornings then chilling with us on the upper terrace in the afternoons and watching the sun set over San Miguel de Allende. Their house is in a quiet location yet less than 20 minutes walk to the heart of the city with all its shops, cafes and restaurants and the up hill walk home certainly improved our fitness level. We would happily return to sit for Obi and Harkin again and highly recommend this sit.

I completed a two week house sit at Lorna‘s home last week.. She was welcoming and took me to dinner the first night, also introduced me to a few of the neighbors. Lorna has two beautiful kitties one older one younger and she has a silly / fun dog named Vanilla … Vanilla is a lot of fun as she can be spunky yet, relaxing… Also, the kitties Ella and Satchmo have unique personalities .. I could go on and on about this couple, how absolutely incredible they are! Dan was the first to arrive, to an injured dog visit to the vet, needing treatment and medication every day while I was gone and he stepped up to the challenge no problem! His wife Cathy joined him in a few days and the two of them went out of their way to spoil my dog and cat and took better care of my house than I would have, going out of their way to do extra little things in looking after the place! Rob and Sandy did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs. They were very professional with their communications and we loved the fact that they sent us daily pictures/videos of our boys. I cannot thank Aya and Joao enough for all the love and tender care they showered upon my cats. My elderly cat became quite ill during their stay and while I was far away in Europe. They made vet visits, gave meds and most of all love to her until my return. They are creative adventurous people, keenly interested in the people and places they visit. Aya is extremely knowledgeable in all things cat. I am extremely grateful to them and recommend them most highly.

Jonathan is a stellar guy. From the moment we met on his interview, we knew that he is an animal lover who absorbs responsibility into the fibers of his being. He asked all the right questions about our dog and home. He even took notes during our initial meeting. Jonathan has loads of experience doing home stays, and it shows. Rebecca was fabulous throughout the whole process of arranging to come stay with Lucy in the heat of September…and October. Pamela was here in Puebla, Mexico, in March and house sat for us while we traveled for 30 days this summer (2024). She was wonderful! handled internet and water issues. She watered plants on the roof and in the courtyard. She had the linens laundered. My travel schedule changed twice and she was very flexible. Pamela loves animals and they love her. She took my two dogs, Chui and Juanita (Chihuahua), to the groomers and stayed with them so they would not be stressed. She gifted them new harnesses and collars with name and phone number tags. Chui is slow to warm up but he quickly knew Pamela was a friend and loved getting pets from her. The dogs enjoyed sleeping in her bed. Only one dog walk per day was requested but she took them three times a day because they all three enjoyed their walks so much. She has a Papillon at home and is crazy about Chihuahuas. She is an intermediate Spanish speaker and has taken Spanish immersion classes. She loves Mexico and the people of Mexico. She is not a diva and likes to experience authentic even rustic Mexico. She is cultured and truly appreciates beauty in architecture, textiles, flowers, art, and people. It’s no wonder she is a favorite for house sitting. She came to me as a sitter and left as a friend. I cannot say enough about this sit! Louisa has a beautiful home that takes you in and provides a sense of beauty and peace. She is detail oriented and makes everything so clear.
