I can't recommend Eric highly enough as a catsitter! He spent 20 days looking after my cat, and when I returned, the place was spotless and beautiful. Not only did he follow all my instructions to the letter, but he also went above and beyond by having healthy snacks waiting for me when I arrived late. We cannot say enough about the excellent care that Natalie and Mark provided for our elderly border collie, Buster! They were meticulous in keeping his meds/meals/playtime and bedtime schedules, and with lots of love! Buster seemed to be disappointed when we returned home because Mark and Natalie were a lot more fun and engaging than we could ever be! They also took excellent care of our home and plants. What started out as a great opportunity to visit a part of Mexico that I hadn't been to before, ended with a new friendship that will indeed be visited again in the future. Lynn and Randy are very welcoming and opened their home upon my arrival the two dogs (Cooper and Savannah)and 2 cats (Doc and Weezer)completed the family lots of fun and love in their beautiful house. Easy walking around the neighborhood and many walking paths close by.. bus or Uber to get into Centro for a bit of culture and of course the aqueduct is spectacular (a must see) groceries and shopping were very close by.. Truly enjoyed the sitting assignment to see some of Querataro, but will return to visit some friends..

She tackled a few minor emergencies while we were away and she kept in touch with us and included pictures of our pets. It was our first pet sit from HouseSitMexico and granted we were a little nervous leaving all in the hands of a stranger. Courtney just sat for me and cared for my bird, Pepe, and my cat, Chillon, and she was great. Pepe hesitates when he meets new people, and he took to her immediately, even following her around the house. Courtney's communication was excellent, and I felt confident while she was here while I was gone. She was great with both pets, and I came home to a clean house and happy creatures. What a wonderful sit in an absolutely lovely and quiet neighborhood in San Antonio (at San Miguel de Allende). Sharon is a great communicator and very clear with the care of her gatito and pajaro. Both were an absolute joy to care for. Pepe, the pajaro, is a lively and happy rescue parakete with quite the personality! X What a wonderful sit in an absolutely lovely and quiet neighborhood in San Antonio (at San Miguel de Allende). Sharon is a great communicator and very clear with the care of her gatito and pajaro. Both were an absolute joy to care for. Pepe, the pajaro, is a lively and happy rescue parakete with quite the personality! He will let you know what he likes and, after getting to know him, likes to chat and follow you around. Chillon, el gatito, is so loving, calm and friendly and will cuddle at your feet at night if you let him (but be warned that he won't move...lol). The location is secured behind a huge wall and walkable everywhere (straight up hill about "5" blocks to Centro), has beautiful decorated gardens (tended to daily) with huge trees, plants, butterflies, parakete families and sunshine perfect to relax and read or have coffee. This is the perfect sit for somebody who is attentive but wants to venture out a few hours every day between the meals. Street parking in a safe area was an added bonus for me coming from my home in Guanajuato. Highly recommend and will do again when available and asked.
