I stayed at the lovely home of Richard and Joseph for 10 days. Richard left detailed instructions for the cats and house plants which made things much easier. Their house is lovely with a rooftop that has an amazing ocean view. It is located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta just a few blocks from the malecon. They were very responsive for questions while I was getting acclimated. The cats are very sweet and easy to care for. I flew in a day early and they walked me around the city, took me to dinner and gave me a wonderful welcome. The only drawback to the location is that it comes with a lot of stairs to get to the house. Not easy with luggage (or a bad knee) but they were very gracious and carried my luggage up the hill. They have a lovely home and are a lovely couple.

We really enjoyed house sitting for Burney and Shayla. Their 3 dogs were sweet, playful, and easy to care for. Burney and Shayla left detailed information not only about the pets, but about the town as well. We appreciated their restaurant recommendations as well as suggestions on where to get groceries. The beach is about a 20 minute walk. We have been in touch and hung out together, even after our house sit was over. We consider Burney and Shayla our friends now and would definitely house sit for them again.

Kirsty pet sat at our home in September 2020 for a week. She was amazing - we have 3 unruly dogs (including one puppy) and she kept them happy and of trouble. Our neighbours loved her - especially her cooking! We would definitely have Kirsty look after our pack of dogs again. Cheers, Maureen

Maureen and Doug are such a kind, considerate and generous couple. Their home is easy to maintain and instructions for caring for their pups was clear and easy to follow. The dogs are the sweetest and provide fantastic companionship and cuddles. In case of emergencies, neighbouring couples are on hand for assistance (and cocktails!). I couldn't have asked for more and felt comfortable and welcomed. Thank you for an amazing sit and opening your beautiful home to me x

Myself & my brother had the pleasure of minding Alicia's beautiful dogs (a beagle & maltese mix). They are so cute & we miss them already. They took a tiny bit of time to adjust to us after the family left, but then we were best friends!! Sam (the beagle) will be your cuddle buddy at night. They were easy to walk (well it's more letting them stop to sniff everything...LOL) & the area where they live is beautiful, lots of nature & small parks nearby. A bus left from the top of the road as well... Continue Reading

Karen and her brother Keith sitted our house and two doggies for 3 weeks. I am so happy that I found them! Our dogs loved them! Karen cared also for our dog Sam while he had an eye infection and everything worked so well. And she even let them sleep in her bed - because they love to cuddle:). We also took care of their two dogs and their two cats, which were wonderful company and easy to take care of. The dogs are very friendly and loving and always come to you for attention which is wonderful. We also took care of their two dogs and their two cats, which were wonderful company and easy to take care of. The dogs are very friendly and loving and always come to you for attention which is wonderful. As for the cats stayed a little distance from us for the first few days but then warmed up and felt comfortable with us. There were several pigs that would hang out at the front gates of the house and we took care of them also as Manuela indicated that they need to be fed and loved. It’s pretty cool having some pigs hang around your house as they were quite friendly also. It was wonderful meeting Manuela and Marcus and all four of their furry babies. They were very welcoming and warm to us and the hospitality was great. We stayed with them one night before they left to go on a holiday so that we could sit and chat and also get to know their dogs and cats routines. What a beautiful couple.

This was our first experience with HouseSitMexico and we couldn't have been more happy. Shawn and Laura were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they housesit but looked after our 2 dogs and 2 cats. On top of that they were kind enough to look after our 7 hummingbird feeders, keeping them clean and filled. They also tended to 2-4 pigs that showed up at our house a while ago! Terry and Kirstie are lovely easy going people. Buster and Gizmo are sweet dogs and easy going. The house was lovely and comfortable in a complex with security. Nice little pool in back to cool off. We had use of there vehicle which with the covid situation was really appreciated. Would sit again if they travel and we are available.
