Laura & I house & pet sat for Jessica & Colin for their 3 dogs & 3 cats in San Miguel for just over a week. They were very welcoming and the pets were a joy to play & walk with every day. The town is so beautiful to walk through and not needing a car to go to Centro is great ! It was wonderful to meet such nice people and work together. Thank you, Shawn & Laura.

Shawn and Laura stayed in our house for 8 days watching over our 3 dogs and 3 cats, feeding and looking after all 6 pets can be quite daunting and they both handled it very well. Each day they walked our dogs and gave everyone lots of love. Even our 14 year old chihuahua who can be a little stand-offish warmed up to both of them after only 2 days. It was also great not to have to worry about anything to do with the house while we were away, Shawn even helped with an electrical problem while we were away and he had no hesitation with our sometimes quirky house. They also paid our house-staff while we were away. Shawn and Laura were clean and tidy. When we arrived home it was exactly the way we left it. They even cooked us dinner after our long drive home, in addition, they feed our pets the night of our return because they knew we were tired from a long day of driving. They spent all of the nights, except for one, in our home cooking and relaxing and enjoying our sometimes needy pets. I loved my stay at Stephanie’s beautiful, spacious home in San Miguel de Allende. She made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable and even gave me slippers! Veronica is down to earth, reliable, trustworthy and neat - and cared for my super affectionate fur babies so well they were sorry she left! Veronica has excellent communication skills and sent me photos, texts and updates on both the cats and on local conditions. I appreciated seeing the fur babies content and happy and felt right away at ease with leaving the fur kids under her kind care. She administered an inhaler daily in addition to playtime, cuddles, litterbox chores and of course gave them plenty of food/water.
