It was a dark and stormy night... Our mini-Schnauzer, Charlie, was hyperventilating from the fear. At 2:00 a.m. our wonderful house sitter, Debbie Breakers, took her into our den, closed the door, lowered the blinds and turned up the TV in order to mask the sound of the storm and give Charlie some comfort. Two to three walks a day (according to our neighbor) for Charlie, house in perfect condition and a bowl of delicious oatmeal casserole in the fridge for our first morning back. Debbie is a professional, mature and responsible person and we recommend her highly to care for any home and/or pets. You cannot do better. Their beautiful home was just as they described it and taking care of their plants/rooftop garden was a fun daily task. I made my nest in their guest room and immediately felt at home. Excellent in every category. Our two dogs loved them and it was totally reciprocal. Felt totally comfortable with both Linda and Bruce and hope that they are available if and when we travel in the future. We love our home and, on our return, it was obvious that they did also. Betty and Robert are awesome! They made me feel like a part of the family. I feel in love with their pets!!!! Their home is an oasis with a resort ambiance yet you have all of the comforts of home. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to house/pet sit for them. The best part of this assignment was meeting Betty and Bob.

Lisa was a fantastic pet and house sitter! We instantly connected and I felt very comfortable leaving our house and dog in her care Boop (our dog) totally loved Lisa! Lisa sent us pictures and updates daily. When we got home, Lisa and I were sitting on the couch with Boop and she chose to go and sit with Lisa and not me. Lisa treated our home with utmost respect. She introduced me to her routine, her dogs China & Rocky and cats Tope and Sheba (really sad to leave them)! She generously gave me a tour of Jocotepec and loaned me her car since her home is in a quiet countryside gated community. We have become friends so that made this first Mexico house sit even more special!

Paola and Curtís stayed for an extended weekend at home with Frida and we were so happy to have them. They are trustful and reliable at a 100% and took care of every specific detail. Mary is organized, very meticulous and an absolute delight. She kept everything clean, the fur kids were very happy and they received a lot of attention while I was away. Mary was very responsive to messages and even picked up one of my pups from the vet the day I left. I will definitely use her again if she isn’t just inundated with requests to sit…and I know she will be!

Sitting pets and house for Susan was a pleasure! She briefed us the day before and left written instructions too. Susan planned well for every contingency and left cash for emergencies, which came in handy when the water supply failed. Her two pups won our hearts. The house and plants are beautiful. We felt like we were on vacation in paradise!
