Lindy and Benjamin stayed with our cat Ollie for seven weeks. They took such good care of him, he hardly missed us at all. They have been back twice, to see us since then. They have become friends. I would have them stay in our house and look after Ollie any time.. they are great people.

Lois gave lots of love to my 4 cats while we were away. I had rescued my fourth cat a couple of months before Lois came to house sit, and I was struggling because my other cats were being intolerant. Lois took this new cat on and gave her what I could not. I was so relieved because I knew that all my cats were cared for. Lois went above and beyond with this new cat. i couldn't have asked for a more compassionate person.

I had a pleasant stay sitting in Nancy’s home in Lake Chapala. Nancy’s 4 cats were sweet, well behaved and easy to care for and her home was comfortable with a housekeeper who came once a week. Nancy is a good communicator and I’d sit for her again.

Karen was very kind and welcoming. Her home is in a great building and a wonderful neighborhood. I was able to walk everywhere and really enjoyed exploring the area. Miss Lucy was the calmest dog I've ever met 🙂 We spent lots of time relaxing on the couch together, and she especially enjoyed snacking on apples and mango. I would happily sit for Karen again in the future and highly recommend this sit to others.

I cannot say enough about Sharon and Ken. While I was out of town I had a nasty fall. My family contacted them and they took the reins with getting my dogs and taking care of them for many many weeks. They paid for things, took care of my house and most importantly made my two pups front and center. I cannot recommend them more highly. Responsible, thoughtful, ethical and kind. Thank you both.

How do you say "RAVE" in Spanish? Eric was a total delight to have around. (And because of a mix-up with Volaris, I did not leave on the 24th of June....but the 26th. So he had an extra day with me hanging around... and I had a chance to know him better.) He's definitely a "dog whisperer," even my problem terrier was smitten by the second day. BJ’s Morelia housesit was a delight from the first phone conversations. This assignment felt special from the outset. And voila! The house was an earthly delight — central in the capital city of Michoacan, yet cloaked in serenity behind the thick stone walls. The two dogs, Andy and Dulce, made for great companions with easy routines, and I appreciated being given the green light to challenge them in their exercise routine—by training them to run in the park next to me on my bike — trotting with their heads held high like pros. All toothy smiles and happily tired pups afterwards! The home was designed with a secret garden where I was given gardener’s privileges to enhance —when life responds to our care with explosions of color and growth it gives an especially satisfying feeling. Best of all was the immediate kinship I felt with BJ herself. The whole sit had a fluid combination of trust, freedom to bring creativity and responsible vision, very good dogs, and a beautiful place to call home for a while. 5 star housesit. I had the pleasure of house and pet-sitting for Glen in May of 2026. The home is a lovely apartment-like layout of three stories.. four if you include the roof complete with sunroom. There are plants and beautiful art on every floor.. and a the third floor is an art studio which I enjoyed very much. Ginger is the long haired kitty I looked after. Ginger has her inner clock set to her feeding times and she is very punctual. She will wake you at 6:30 am to be fed. There is no way around it.. lol.. If need be, you can go back to sleep after! I spent many hours brushing ginger and she was great company on the days I stayed in. I had a great time looking after Max, Negrita, and Maggie. Three different dogs with very beautiful personalities. Gracie's home is just outside the central area of San Miguel. Very safe and very comfortable. I would highly recommend that you look after Max, Negrita, and Maggie if you ever get the chance. Communication with Gracie was really excellent.
