They answered all our questions, arrived promptly, followed our instructions exactly, checked in with us while we were away, cleaned up after themselves and left our home immaculate. Our dog, Che, came up to them right away when they met for pets and belly rubs. When we arrived home he was happy, following all of his routines and even went to the bedroom they stayed in looking for them. Gerry and Gigi are a friendly couple and we appreciate that they double checked everything with us to confirm they were following our requests as intended. We would definitely have them sit again if available and feel confident and comfortable having them watch our fur baby and home.

I highly recommend Sandy and Rob as house and pet sitters. Of course my main concern was for my sweat little doggie Coco. She is shy with strangers and I was afraid that she would be difficult and they would never see her wonderful personality. I returned home to a beautifully brushed and happy animal. What a nice surprise that was. I returned to my house just as I left it. It was obvious to me that they respected my private belongings. This was my first experience having sitters and I was a bit nervous about it. After having Rob and Sandy I am now completely relaxed about my next venture. Our charge, Coco, soon lost her shyness and had us playing games and running around in the garden, she was a delight to care for. We loved the garden and made good use of the plunge pool too. Her maid and gardener were very kind and also gave us a lot of information about San Miguel.We would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet sit yet be close enough, by short taxi ride or a walk to the bus, to explore the centre of San Miguel.

Patrick was fantastic! He had 8 cats, 2 dogs and a horse to take care of and I returned home to all of them accounted for, as well as all being fat and happy! He was extremely respectful of our home and property and asked all the right questions. He approached this huge responsibility with a good sense of humour and truly cared for each animal. There were even a few that were so sad to see him go, he will know which ones I am writing about. Thank you Patrick, we hope you will return!

I have no reservations about recommending John as a house sitter. He and I corresponded over a period of weeks, working out logistics and getting to know each other. We were very impressed with his status as a cellist, conductor and professor of music, and his love of family, food, animals and travel. We arranged for him to stay with us for a day and night in order to show him around, and have him take us to the airport. We were in constant communication with John while we were away, and he kept us apprised of the situation at our home. John picked us up at the airport on our return as well. We arrived to a house that was kept in perfect order, thriving house plants and yard, and happy, healthy dogs. John stayed until the next day when we took him to the airport. While John was in our town, he discovered much more about the place than we knew after living here 3 years, and he shared it all with us. John is an accommodating, flexible, easy going person who cares for people and animals, and has become a friend.

Well, it was Mimi and my first house-sit using HouseSitMexico. And I am pleased to report it was "perfect". As Barb wanted to hear daily on 'things', I found myself using the word 'perfect' in my emails literally everyday. And while a powerful word, with the ability to be overused, the stay was indeed 'perfect'. Tanya and Dave were amazing. - We recommend them highly !They sent us regular updates on the house and our pooch. Took the dog to a groomer . Our dog was scratching, and they took him to take care of the flee problem.They took good care of the house, paid the maid and gardener, and left it impecable upon our return . I hope they are available next time we need a house/pet sitter, as they are on top of our list.

It was a real pleasure to house and pet sit for Debbie and Jordan in the Raquet Club. The keep a very clean and organised home. They are great hosts. They offer comfortable quarters specially for their sitters and provide a car for local trips. Debbie and Jordan are generous and friendly. Their three dogs are very sweet and eager to go on walks. Access to the club is a bonus. We highly recommend this sit.
