We had Charles housesit for us for two weeks. This was our first housesit. Charles had quite an extensive housesit resume and very good recommendations. We had Charles housesit for us for two weeks. This was our first housesit. Charles had quite an extensive housesit resume and very good recommendations. We have an 8 year old golden retriever who prefers to be home so this was an ideal solution. We asked Charles if he was willing to come a day earlier so he could meet Barley, our dog. I felt it better for her to know him a bit before we left. He agreed, and it was very clear he loved animals. We also tasked him with watering our gardens, and he did an outstanding job!! Charles was very security conscious, and helped us out with a few tips as this was our first housesit. Charles stayed in touch with us while we were away, and provided updates on Barley ensuring us that she was very happy! When we returned, our home was clean, bedding laundered, and we were welcomed by a very happy dog!! Charles said he really enjoyed his stay and to our surprise he had stocked some of our favourite beverages in the fridge and treated us to a lovely dinner at a restaurant. This was our first time leaving our dog with someone, other than a family member, and it was clear that Charles treated our dog as if it was his own. Danyel and Robert stayed for 6 months in our home in San Miguel de Allende (May-Nov 2021.) They are very nice people, completely dependable, have great communication skills, and took care of the place beautifully. We were totally satisfied with their stay and are happy to be welcoming them back for another 6 months starting this April, 2022.

Mike and Carol are now not only considered family but were a huge help and support with our 2 month trip abroad. They are reliable, self sufficient, took amazing care of our 3 dogs and cared for our home as it were their own. Not to mention, they're just fun to be around! We are extremely grateful for them and look forward to seeing them again. Thank you Mike and Carol, we and the pups miss you!

I could just check all the other reviews written by previous house sitters and echo their remarks...Gloria is a very gracious host, very generous with the use of her car, has a beautiful home and a delightful rescue dog, Bella, who needs to be/expects to be, and can tell when it's time for, her morning and evening walks! Our time in Gloria's home served to introduce us to the Chapala and Ajijic world of friendly residents and wonderful restaurants. On my arrival Pat introduced me to several of her friends and the difference that made in me managing 5 weeks in a new city was significant. We spent two days together before she left, getting me comfortable with the three delightful cats, home maintenance and getting around the city. Excellent wifi, very large terrace with many beautiful plants, easy access to taxi pick-ups, all good. The cats. These three cats have personalities so different that it kept our interactions interesting to say the least! At times I had all three of them on the bed, other times they were vying for my attention or dismissing my advances...all of it delightful for me, a committed 'cat person'. Brittany and Kevin were fabulous hosts. We had lots of informative and fun communication via WhatsApp texts and video calls beforehand and I think we and they felt comfortable. They bought us some basic provisions to get us started and would not accept payment. Ziggy and Lucy, the puppies grew up in front of our eyes and had so much crazy energy. They went from being nervous to best buddies pretty quickly and it was nice to see them feel safe. Tony, the 6 year old Chihuahua, is adorable (and smart). The area where Brittany and Kevin lives has lots of eateries and other services within walking distance. Antonia was the most awesome, reliable pet and house sitter one could wish for! She took excellent care of my little Kitty Gabi and treated my home as though it were her own. My plants were happy with her too. They looked happy and healthy upon my return. From experience I know that this is not a given! In addition to all that, Antonia is a lovely, warm human being whom I now consider a friend! I highly recommend Antonia as a Caretaker for your Home and Pets!
