We had a fun sit looking after Gloria’s home and her sweet dog Bella. Gloria was gracious enough to allow us to come 2 days early. We felt very comfortable with her as she made us feel welcome. The home was lovely with up to date amenities, and provided beautiful views. We would be happy to return. Thank you Gloria and Bella!

Our second housesit at Lorna’s was just as amazing as the first one. Lorna is a great host and we fell in love with Vanilla, Satchmo, and Ella. Well-behaved, quirky, and loving. Her cool house had a lot of character with so many places to hang out in! Thanks Lorna!

We had a lovely time caring for Comet and Paisley at Jill and Jay’s casa! Jill and Jay were very generous hosts and are new friends. We also enjoyed their pool and spa almost daily. Comet and Paisley were fun to play with, they kept us entertained. An easy and fun house sit! We shall return if only to visit.

Karen & Rick were everything you could ask for in a housesitting team! They took wonderful care of Duke and Shadow, the property was well cared for and the gardens were kept well watered and tidy! They are an extremely well traveled couple and quite familiar with Mexico so there was no fear of culture shock and they acclimated easily to the Yucatan coast.

Excellent Housesitter! Catherine was fabulous with the animals (Duke loved his early morning beach walks) and took excellent care of the property and gardens. Very self sufficient, great communication, provided regular updates and having traveled extensively in MX she acclimated easily to the Yucatán coast.

I am delinquent in writing this review. Gail and Doug are wonderful people. Reported by my two dogs, “they were wonderful Mom, can they stay please?” Felt so safe and sure of their house sitting because of their commitment and follow up during the process. There were some house issues during the stay and all was handled well. They took wonderful care of my two pups and the house. Everything was immaculate when I returned. I welcome their return.

We spent 2 weeks over Christmas/New Years...2021/22 taking care of Susan's lovely home and her two adorable dogs, Bella and Brinkley. Susan is a wonderful host, very organized and hospitable to her sitters. Ajijic is a great place to visit and this is a wonderful sit.

Suzy went above and beyond to care for my beloved Kika during my 2month absence. Kika, who is 13, had been diagnosed with a liver problem shortly before I left and was given meds that seemed to get it under control. However a week or so after my departure things took a turn for the worse and Suzy was left to cope with a very sick dog. Rebecca took excellent care of our 2 kitties, and was great at keeping in touch while we were away, sending lots of photos. We returned to 2 happy cats which was ideal. She also took great care of the apartment. Would definitely recommend!

Progreso, Yucatan Peninsula From 19 Jan - 23 Mar 2022, we had the pleasure of taking care of Duke, the Golden Retriever and his sidekick, Shadow....a rabbit. An open ended sit when we applied because the home had been sold and the owners had already moved out of the country but were waiting to be able to close the deal and ship their pets. Martha came to us from Pennsylvania as Rose and I were headed for opposite parts of the United States. I don’t think we’ve felt more confident about leaving our Terrier/Schnauzer mix Moppit with another person. And Martha certainly proved us right. She and Moppit bonded quickly, as easily as Martha bonded with San Miguel de Allende. During our time away we received frequent updates and photos from Martha. Besides having a congenial personality, Martha is a seasoned traveler, especially in Mexico. She was able to move easily through the community and made many friends in her weeklong stay. Those are friends who look forward to her returning to San Miguel as much as we do. Because of her flight schedule, Martha was able to stay with us an extra day and we found her to be excellent company. I couldn’t help but notice how quickly Moppit came to her side when she sat on the couch, a sure sign that all is well!
