A beautiful modern, extremely comfortable home with an outdoor terrace that overlooks the UNESCO heritage town of San Miguel a wonderful start to the morning….. coffee in one hand and the adorable Rusty to keep you company. The home is extremely clean and well organised, we were made to feel very welcome. Rusty is an absolute delight to look after. Rusty will greet you in the morning with a plea for a loving pat, he loves being with you…. we cherished every moment of his company. He loves to go for a walk around the complex, hang out with you on the lounge or an afternoon exploring the beautiful colonial town of San Miguel, he is extremely well behaved in restaurants, boutiques anywhere you should desire to go. The perfect 4 legged friend !!!! We now have, 3 special friendships and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back and spend more time with everyone again. House sitting with Rusty was a wonderful experience and an honour to have been chosen to enjoy Bob and Karol’s home. Highly recommended. 10 out of 10 stars!

Felicia’s home was spotlessly clean. The animals were well managed and happy. The kitchen was well appointed. Written instructions were clear and available so there was no doubt in what needed to be done. My stay at their home was wonderful and I hope to do it again.

Andrew was everything one could hope for in a house/ pet sitter. Our pets adored him and clearly, it was mutual. We had told him he didn't need to clean before he left because our housecleaner was scheduled to come that day. She was delighted for a very easy workday because Andrew left the house spotless and even cooked us a delicious dinner for our return. I am so happy to have met Veronica! She came to housesit and care for my 2 rescue cats, who can be a little demanding of affection and cuddles - not that they're spoiled or anything, ha! Veronica is down to earth, reliable, trustworthy and neat - and cared for my super affectionate fur babies so well they were sorry she left! Veronica is down to earth, reliable, trustworthy and neat - and cared for my super affectionate fur babies so well they were sorry she left! I appreciated seeing the fur babies content and happy and felt right away at ease with leaving the fur kids under her kind care. She administered an inhaler daily in addition to playtime, cuddles, litterbox chores and of course gave them plenty of food/water. She is patient and kind and left my house immaculate - what a great thing to come home to! I highly recommend her and hope that our paths cross again soon!

I posted a very last minute need for a sitter in order to participate in a great adventure with a Biological Research station (CEDO) for whom i volunteer. AFTER Anne and Toni agreed to travel to my difficult-to-reach town at their expense, the Research station cancelled my trip, too late for Toni and Anne to cancel their plans. So, I agreed to cover their costs for an airbnb. The biological research station refused to compensate me for my losses. Toni and Anne then offered to spend several extra days in the layover city at their expense in order to save me some money. They then spent several days with me. It was a great visit. They then booked an extremely inexpensive airbnb well outside the city limits in order to AGAIN mitigate my costs, even though their only transportation to stores or events were their feet. They do love to run! I can never thank them enough. My dogs adored them! These guys are the best.

One of the most severe tests of the reliability and commitment of a house sitter is how they handle themselves when "bad things happen". Grace passed such a test recently with flying colors. Through this experience we all learned that repeated treatments are required to put an end to such a problem.) Rather than fleeing the scene and abandoning her responsibilities, Grace saw the assignment through to completion (staying in the casita to avoid being bitten further). Good for you, Grace! Shaunna was amazing, friendly and welcomed me with open arms. She picked me up from the airport and took me to Walmart for food. Once arriving to her home, she gave me a tour of her place, introduced me to her fur babies and went over their routine. She also gave me some pointers on where things were in town, places to visit as well as if the bus would take me there. Carol-lee and her friend Wendy took care of our pets (dog and cat) in November, 2019, and did a great job. We returned home to two happy pets, a clean house, and a note. (They had another commitment, so had to leave earlier on the day we returned home.) I wouldn’t hesitate to have either or both of them take care of our pets again.

Cheryl & Tom were a delightful couple to house/pet sit for. We spent a week looking after their lovely dogs Muncie & Lexi who were friendly loved tummy rubs, cuddles & their food. Lexi is noisy when you first meet her but calms down very quickly & she is a loving little bouncy character. Muncie is a gentle easy going dog and very affectionate & loves to be brushed. Tessa & Joe house/pet sat for us for a week and they were wonderful. Our two dogs seemed to love them, I think Joe is a dog whisperer. Our little resuce baby is a barker and he calmed her down the first time we met him. The house was in great condition when we returned, sheets and towels washed and ready for us. We would recommend them anytime you need someone to house/pet sit for you. We also would definitely use them again if the need arose and they were available

Marco stayed at my house for about two weeks, I did not get a chance to meet him, but my neighbors enjoyed him, and the house was very well kept for the next sitter. I’d have no reservations about having him stay again. Lynn
