They then planned a night out with local friends including Alex, the owner of this site. I instantly felt comfortable and welcome. They have a beautiful home. The night before they left and the night they got back, I stayed in their casita which has everything you could need. While they were gone, I stayed in their main house so that their dogs would maintain their routines. Their home is beautiful and includes a pool and hot tub. Their dogs are so very sweet and easy. Their walks were off-leash and just a few blocks in different directions three times per day. I can highly recommend sitting for Linda & Jim if you get the opportunity. Their dates for 2018 didn't work out for me but I'd definitely sit for them again if possible!

I sat for Mary Ann & Patrick in January 2018. They were very welcoming from the start and arranged for a driver to pick me up at the airport. Collette was an exceptional host. Her house sitting guide and thorough home and neighborhood tour made us feel safe and informed from the start. Although her 4 sweet and affectionate dogs are of varying sizes and breeds they were easy to handle on the daily walks and in the home. Lilly (Leandra G.) house sat for us for over a week and was fabulous. As soon as she arrived the connection to the animals was obvious. She absolutely loves them! During the house sit my dog, Beauty, actually slept on the bed with her which she has not done in our 6 years with us. She took her for a hike in the mountains daily and additional walks. George and I sat for Donna and Ken for 10 days over the Christmas holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Their home is lovely - and in a perfect location for enjoying all of the Lake Chapala area. Their dogs, Sugar and Spice, are adorable, well-behaved and SO sweet. We loved exploring (and shopping!) in Ajijic, and there are several excellent restaurants a short drive away. I would highly recommend Donna and Ken's home if you have the opportunity.

These updates allowed me to really enjoy our cruise. There was one construction concern that we heard about directly from them- sooner than our contractor could reach us! I appreciated how level headed they were with our puppy who could be a real terror. They showered him with love and attention, as well as our independent cat. I 100% recommend Sue & Dave, and really do hope that they have the time to come back to us someday!
