Our pet and housesit for Julia and Tim was exemplary. First, Izzy is a fun and easy pup to care for and we bonded quickly. She became Denise’s shadow almost immediately and joined us for short and long walks and excursions by car. She loves affection, play, grooming and staying close. She’s well-mannered and responds quickly to kind corrections. It’s been nearly two weeks and we still miss her! Her people, Julia and Tim, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They took us to a lovely dinner the evening before their departure where we learned about each other’s travel adventures and lives before relocating to Mexico. They allowed us use of their vehicle which we used minimally because we loved Ajiic’s walkability! They entrusted us with the full use of their beautifully designed and furnished home with gorgeous views of Lake Chapala. We felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel! Julia and Tim’s neighbors are exceptionally friendly and we met lovely people throughout our stay. We’ve been fortunate to care for many pets in desirable locations over the past five years and this sit rates as one of our favorites!
