Jerelyn was a very gracious host. She and DePaul hosted us for dinner the night before they left and prepared breakfast for us the following morning. They even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay! The instructions for the house, the cat and their 3 chihuahuas were very thorough and clear. Jerelyn walked around the neighborhood introducing us to neighbors and showing us shops and restaurants close by. Chiquita and her siblings were well behaved and easy to care for. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. It has all the amenities including a washer and dryer. A special highlight is a terrace on the roof that overlooks the area. The house is in town in a traditional neighborhood so be prepared to hear all the sounds associated with a Mexican town. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and safe day and night. Many amenities are within walking distance including small shops, good restaurants, the boardwalk along the lake and even hot springs! We enjoyed our stay very much.
