Carmen recently house/pet sat for me for two weeks and it was nothing short of wonderful! Much as I hate to admit it, I think I have a complicated household routine (oops) and she navigated it all seamlessly. My two kitties and multitude of plants were all perfectly taken care of. She sent photos as requested and we chatted a couple of times on WhatsApp about various little things that helped me feel even more reassured about how everything was going while I was away. My big three-bedroom apartment was clean as a button when I returned, and she even washed the towels and bed linens. Carmen has lived in Zihuatanejo for some years and so wasn’t fazed by the idiosyncrasies that Mexico can sometimes present us with. I would not hesitate to use Carmen again, and in fact hope that she’s available and willing to come back to Mazatlan the next time I go away.
