We were embarking on a trip of a lifetime on a World Cruise, so I was incredibly fortunate to find Jonathan to house-sit and care for my newly found stray/feral cat, Ashley. His extensive experience in Mexico put our minds at ease, knowing he was well-tested in the local area. He held both Mexican driver’s licenses and permanent residence in Mexico, which further solidified our confidence in his abilities.
Through the sit, Jonathan demonstrated exceptional communication skills. He inquired about our expectations, kept us updated on his arrival time to show him around our home, and introduced him to Ashley. Remarkably, he managed to earn Ashley’s trust within a few days, allowing him to pet her and provide her with the attention and love she needed and, more importantly, to bring her in at night to be safe. This was a significant achievement, especially considering my concerns about her being a bit wild sometimes. Jonathan managed to make Ashley more affectionate, and she’s gradually becoming more like a domestic cat.
Jonathan maintained constant communication with us, providing us with daily reports on Ashley’s well-being. The house was left in pristine condition, as if Jonathan had taken great care of it as if it were his own. We wholeheartedly recommend Jonathan and have absolute trust in his abilities. Anyone considering selecting him for house-sitting or pet care would have nothing to worry about. Our five-and-a-half-month sit was an extended one, but Jonathan sent adorable photos of Ashley, which we cherished. Jonathan’s exceptional care for our property extended beyond house-sitting. He ensured that our housekeeper and gardener received their pay and took meticulous care of Ashley. We highly recommend Jonathan and hope he will be available for future house-sitting assignments for us in the future.
