I had the privilege to dogsit for Mary Ann for 5 1/2 weeks at her gorgeous home in Ajijic. My companions were the 2 sweetest dogs – Duchess and Elvis. They rule the roost but in the best possible way. I truly miss their company already. Mary Ann graciously picked me up at the Guadalajara airport and prepared everything for me before she left – all payments for her lovely maid Carmen, Gardener Fernando and pool caretaker Miguel were ready to go on a weekly basis. The staff and I were a team and everything flowed. Even unexpected surprises were just opportunities to problem solve. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. My Spanish, while still needing work, improved with use and I learned so much more about life at Lake Chapala. There were even a couple of great rainstorms to cool us off from May’s hot weather. I’m grateful for the chance to offer love and care to the dogs and her home and would return again. Gracias!! Victoria
