Mary Ann’s home is a beautiful spacious Colonial Mexican styled home, with lovely surrounding gardens for the dogs to exercise in safely while they look out for invading squirrels! The area is clearly very safe, and it is an easy 15-minute flat walk to shops/restaurants, and the super vibrant Ajijic town Plaza with all its artistic/musical events.
We received detailed (and very welcome) day-to-day instructions even before we travelled to Ajijic from the UK. Occasional brief WhatsApp and email communications between us proved easy and straightforward, and we were all happy to be flexible to each other’s changing needs during the assignment.
Duchess and Elvis are both adorable mixed breed rescue dogs. Due to her past, Duchess can be reactive. This was easily remedied by making sure the dogs were in the house while any visitors were around.
We felt confident handling both dogs between us. So we enjoyed taking them out on occasional mini walks around the block or for longer, for extra smells and different energies.
We would be thrilled to be invited back.
