This was my first sit on this site and I have to say it was such a wonderful experience. Gloria was very hospitable and welcoming. She picked me up from the Centro when I arrived, took me to breakfast and then we drove around to make me familiar to the Chapala and Ajijic area. Gloria’s home is beautiful and very comfortable. It is out in the country, very calm and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked and she was very generous and said I could help myself to what was there, and also purchased a lot of berries just before leaving! The house is about 20 mins outside of Chapala. Gloria recognizes the location and does provide a car for the sitter’s use. And there is a also a convenient bus service from there.
Bella is the sweetest dog! I really had a great time with her. She always wanted to be around wherever I went. She thoroughly loves her walks even though she is not able to go too far or too fast these days. I still think of her a lot and miss her! I hope to see both Gloria and Bella in the near future.
