It was lovely to stay at Marc and Paulette’s and take care of Fiona, Brindle and Nikko. They really went above board to make me feel welcome in their home. They ensured I would be comfortable in the home and in the area and showed me around. They picked me up at the bus (and waited even though it was quite late without any consternation) and dropped me off when I was leaving. I think this is very helpful when one is in a new place. The home is very comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped and well stocked. They were really very generous and kind. The dogs are really lovely, and I miss them! They do get super excited when it is walk time and have a lot of energy so one needs to be strong. Nikko is being trained though ( he’s still a puppy) so I am guessing they might not pull as much for the next sit. There are also a lot of lovely plants inside and outside! What I appreciated most was their understanding and approach that the sitter is also doing them a favor and we are all helping each other. It’s nice to have made new friends and hope to see them again. Thank you Paulette and Marc!
