House sitting for Fiona was a magical experience. Her house has a unique energy, a lovely garden, and her dogs are the epitome of the happy pill: golden hair, cheerful sparkly eyes, and very charismatic. Every day was an adventure with those two. The cats are a bit more discreet, but if you’re sensible enough, you can make friends with them… just don’t expect to be allowed to pet them right from the start. Even though the house is a bit far from town, delivery service from La Comer makes it convenient. If you have a car, you’ll find everything you need no longer than 15 minutes away. If you don’t drive, expect to pay at least 120 per taxi or Uber ride from Centro to the house. Fiona is a lovely, respectful, intuitive, and mature person. The neighbors are friendly. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature. I especially enjoyed taking the dogs for walks in the mornings and afternoons. No doubt San Miguel has magic, and Fiona´s place has a bit of that as well.
