Seven Days in November with Two Adorable Pups
Chapala, Jal, Mexico
Our home is located in the town of Chapala in a quiet and very peaceful neighborhood called Brisas de Chapala. The area is surrounded by mountains and nearby is the largest fresh water lake in the country of Mexico called Lake Chapala. Brisas, as we call it, is a few kilometers (around 5 minutes) by car to the nearest Supermarket and few minutes more, are shops, restaurants, coffee shops, the boardwalk or malecón as we locals call it, where you can engage in a stroll or any of the many activities in the town center. Near the entrance of town, you have a bus station where you can take buses to the towns of Ajijic and San Antonio, if you would like to explore the nearby towns. There are buses too that you can take into Chapala from our neighborhood. It is about a mile from the house to the actual bus stop.
We have two small dogs, one is Sofi, a toy poodle mix and Dulce, a Yorkie mix. They are both very kind and loving.
Our home is fully equipped with fiber optics high speed internet, 2 Smart TV’s, a fully equipped kitchen, peekaboo lake view from our front terrace, breathtaking mountain vistas from our back terrace, and lush gardens in both front and back of the house.
We have two guest bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bath, a half bath in living area, a TV room with an 85” inch Smart flatscreen TV, plus a master bedroom and bath (which is closed for the duration of the house sit).
Our home is nonsmoking.
We would like to find a sitter that will take really good care of our pups and our home. We are looking for a couple or a single person, someone who will not be having parties, having guests over, or leaving the dogs alone for long periods of time.
Some of the responsibilities will be to pay our gardener. His services are twice a week. Our cleaning lady that comes 5 times a week and our dog walker that comes 3 times a week only for Dulce. We will leave you the cash to pay our staff and any bill that might come up during our time away.
The other days, you can take both Dulce and Sofi for nearby walks. It’s a great area for walking the pups especially if you like being immersed in nature.
Call our house manager in case of any malfunction at the house.
Take our pups to the vet in case of any emergency.
Feed the pups twice a day and give them their vitamins or medicine if necessary.
Just oversee that everything is in order with the pups and the house operations.
